It didnt review that well at the time but my mate had the cpc version o I bought it. In those days I said the speccy version was better cause you could see the guys head in the car if you paused it after you crashed. CPC version was better but both versions were excellent for the formats.

One of favourite Spectrum games. Brings back a lot of memories. One of the few Spectrum games I was good at. Very good graphics for a 80s spectrum game.

Great racer. I like how you could slow down and get in the slipstream of the car in front blocking you then pull out and hammer the accelerater. Very fast and certainly addictive.

One of my last purchases for the speccy (from Boots i think) V fast indeed, quite a technical achievement. Car makes a bit of a farting noise tho :)

Farting aside it's one of the better speccy games. I was well impressed by this at the time.
