@Hayao Not to say that easy accessibility is a bad thing. My main is T. Hawk, and he's not too difficult to use. (He has his disadvantages, but easy execution wise) I just think that shotos are the most boring and overused characters in the game.

@Hayao The shotos are, while not too terrible in my opinion, far too common of a sight online. It seems that almost every match I find myself involves Ryu, Ken or Akuma. They're not bad (I'll even admit to using them every once in a while) but goddamn are they overused.

I normally stick with Abel, Dan, Cody, Fei Long or Zangief.

@Raymondo2123 I like your taste in characters, I do agree that it would be nice if more people would be open minded about diverting from shoto characters. Not saying every shoto user should switch, shotos are bound to forever be the most common type of character, but it would be nice to see some other characters be used more.

Yes and no. Look, regardless of anything, tiers exist for a reason. A higher-tier character will have a better chance of winning against someone lower in tier, just statistically. Skill is, was, and always will be the main factor that decides a match in Street Fighter, though.

@damienfeb01 You're exactly right. I believe tiers give a general idea of the slight imbalance of characters, but it boils down to what is your most comfortable style. In my opinion, tiers just tell us how many more people are better at using Guile than people using Adon.
