  • Good day! Where did you bought the steel wool and plastic and copper nipple connectors? Thank you. I hope you could reply back.

  • why not try burning the steel wool before putting it in the flashback arrestor so it does not burn again.

  • yes,but bronze wool doesn't catch and keep burning,it just singes

  • use bronze wool...steel wool burns!!!!!

  • better still brass fittings and threaded tube

  • i read somewhere the ptfe tape will not like the hydrogen.try not to blow yourself up.

    have a look

  • Plumbers tape is not PTFE. It is teflon. I've never had a problem with the stuff, however, if I ever do have a problem with it, I will let everyone know about it. I will keep a close watch on it. Thanx for the tip.

  • PTFE = Teflon

  • Teflon doesnt like just anything, since as a chemical substance is pratically perfectly stable . Just keep in mind and dont forget that teflon is not stable towards heat (>~200-250°C) and above this will decompose into VERY toxic fluorocarbon compounds.

  • it shouldnt be getting that hot behind the nylon barbs...i dont think

  • how would you know that bronze doesn't burn, if you haven't built one yet.

    :)

  • guess what,,, steel wool burns, need to use broonze wool.

  • Yes, i know.

Guess what, broonze wool burns too.

See my other video testing the torch, as stated this is not for a long term use, it's only good for short term, or demonstration.

    Thanks for the concern.

  • how would you know it doesn't, if you haven't built one yet.
