  • @diederich0017 fresh water?

  • Dude an RC can do this

  • okay so i have an xj and its lifted two inches, everytime i go through water it does fine, then when i get it on the road, the rpms bounce like crazy and i loose power and it never wants to turn on, and if it does it backfires and shit any help please? it would be much appreciated??

  • @jeepcherokeetallia water on your wires? causing a skip

  • @Kawasakiforlife7 figured it out, the plug wires were old and the seal was broken. Replaced them and havnt had a problem since.

  • @jeepcherokeetallia Register on a Jeep forum like Cherokee Forum. The guys there are very helpful and have more knowledge about these vehicles than you can believe. Sounds to me like water is getting in your distributor or one of the many sensors on your engine are getting wet.

  • @jeepcherokeetallia dude my cherokee doesnt do half that stuff, but when i get it too wet, my rpms do whatever they want, its totally a sensor or computer or w/e like that- do you like the 2 inch lift or do u wish u went bigger?

  • @TheSmilinace im going bigger, i got a 3 inch to go on top, so 5 inches total and 33 mudders

  • @TheSmilinace i had that problem with another truck check the cam sensor, wires were frayed and messed up the computer and throttle sensor so it dosnt idle right

  • sounds like a damn tractor lol but mine does to lol

  • my bmw can swim in there instead lol

  • rigth on, rompin through puddles is always fun!

  • 1 ft deep?

    skeery

  • yes - about 1ft (30cm)

  • Gotta make sure the axles don't get water in 'em.

Water does help clean the underbelly tho.

  • @XJFiles take your car through that at the speed he did... bet it work die out

  • @ZippoGuy100 Nope, my Porsche may get water inside but it's make it. Anyhow, I wouldn't be driving that car in the rain. I'd be driving my Jeep with 9" lift that can handle approx 4' deep water.

    No "die outs" lol

  • @XJFiles yea if you know how do drive it in deep water like that the right way it won't die out

  • Klasse!
