okay so i have an xj and its lifted two inches, everytime i go through water it does fine, then when i get it on the road, the rpms bounce like crazy and i loose power and it never wants to turn on, and if it does it backfires and shit any help please? it would be much appreciated??

@jeepcherokeetallia dude my cherokee doesnt do half that stuff, but when i get it too wet, my rpms do whatever they want, its totally a sensor or computer or w/e like that- do you like the 2 inch lift or do u wish u went bigger?
@TheSmilinace i had that problem with another truck check the cam sensor, wires were frayed and messed up the computer and throttle sensor so it dosnt idle right
@ZippoGuy100 Nope, my Porsche may get water inside but it's make it. Anyhow, I wouldn't be driving that car in the rain. I'd be driving my Jeep with 9" lift that can handle approx 4' deep water.
u mean a puddle

Gotta make sure the axles don't get water in 'em.
Water does help clean the underbelly tho.
