I'm reading his autobiography right now, I Am Spock, and he talks about how he does like being known as Spock, and how seeing things that were influenced by Star Trek makes him all warm on the inside. He's one of those actors who really embraced their role, which is really cool.
really sucks that they took Star trek away from these two guys.

He likes it. At one point, it annoyed him I'm sure, but he came around, due to friendship with Shatner, and the success it got him.
He always spoke highly of Spock. He talked about his enjoyment of Spock in his first book, then said he was Spock in his second book.
