Although recorded on a 12" matrix, this version, at little more than 3 minutes, would have fitted easily onto a 10" side.
After October 1929, economic conditions were such that no further 12" sides were made by him until March 1938. But there were, of course, hundreds of 10-inchers.
All his acoustics - recorded 1919-26 - were 12": mostly issued as single-sided, premium-priced discs, even though a few played for only 2 minutes!
