flute solo needs to hold out a steady note and not go so flat -o-;

tenors rush like hell, needs to play triplets right, doesnt even sound like triplets, clarinets rush like hell.

man the flute entrances are so rushed.

trumpets and trombones sound good tho.

You guys are crazy the french horn part is the best by far. the spoons part is also good. but he was just playing the same rhythem. In my band he played the actual part. We were astounded at what he could play.

if you will alow me to comment i will say that all the parts were played very well, but i also think that the parts didn't mesh to form one sound i feel that the low brass/ woodwinds were either covered up or not playing loud enough, and i also feel that the saxes, when they first come in were playing way to loud and overbalancing the rest of the band. this is just my opinion and i am the bassoon player at my school and sit infront of the trombones so im used to hearing there part. it was good

I think this band could have had better balance throughout the whole song! You can hardly hear the Low Brass/Woodwinds. Haven't you guys heard of the TRIANGLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i thought this was really good :) im a freshman in high school, i play the flute and piccolo, and apparently good enough for first chair wind ensemble :) so im playing the solo...i thought ur picc player did well she sounds good i just got braces though so im having to work at it to adjust before our concert thursday.....wish me luck! haha anyway good job :) btw i love the reindeer in the front lol

also, this is a lot faster than we play it.

This is the middle level band of 3 total. Below is blue band, above is symphonic (although this band is often better sounding than symphonic)

this band sucks compared to mine. Im a first trumpet in the Port Clinton High School Marching Band and we are playing this song. I do give the soloist props though.The articulation in the trumpets is not clear and the french horns are not playing in tone or loud enough.

I played this song my sophomore, junior, and senior years of high school for our Christmas program and this is a very excellent version. The band apparently worked very hard.
