But a humble atheist who loves the truth also needs to realize that science never leads to absolute facts, only useful models that can help understand the physical reality better. The existence, or non-such, of God can't be analyzed with science. Atheism is as much a faith and as little science as for example intelligent design (which does not mean that either if them is wrong even though at least one has to be).

However to say you do have enough faith to believe the same person who did this is the person described in an old book written by people no-one is sure of, and which has been changed and translated countless times is litereally insane. The thing is that my consciousness, my "soul" if you wish, makes it very hard to believe that only a materialistic reality exists. Also, this universe seems to have been intelligently operated with ther reason of housing life. If for example the electrical charge of an electron would be 5% bigger/smaller, no chemical compounds would exist, and hence no life.

@nextHeritage genesis list the geneology from adam to abraham, and gives the fathers age when the next in line was born, so you can add up the ages and get the exact number of years from adam to abraham (of course, most people back then could not add past 10! )
the geneology from adam to jesus is listed in two of the gospels (and they are not the same) listing 77 generations for the one that matches genesis most closely. It comes out to creation of the universe around 4000 BC. It IS IN THERE

When you add up Hitlers killings, and the Inquisitions, and the Crusades, and all the other killing in the name of the Christian god, it far outways the killing of those who were irreligious but followed communism as a religion. But a humble atheist who loves the truth also needs to realize that science never leads to absolute facts, only useful models that can help understand the physical reality better. The existence, or non-such, of God can't be analyzed with science. Atheism is as much a faith and as little science as for example intelligent design (which does not mean that either if them is wrong even though at least one has to be).

Also, this universe seems to have been intelligently operated with ther reason of housing life. @nextHeritage genesis list the geneology from adam to abraham, and gives the fathers age when the next in line was born, so you can add up the ages and get the exact number of years from adam to abraham (of course, most people back then could not add past 10! )
the geneology from adam to jesus is listed in two of the gospels (and they are not the same) listing 77 generations for the one that matches genesis most closely. It comes out to creation of the universe around 4000 BC. It IS IN THERE

Just a simple look at his speeches for educational sources, you will find he is constantly invoking Gods words but he clearly didn't do such horrible things because of religion. He did it because of his ideology which is Nazism.

@nextHeritage Nope he was not , he was roman catholic and that's a fact. No matter how much you christians would like him to be an atheist he was a believer. No atheist is going to mention ''god'' as one of his inspirations, which Hitler did several times.

By the way, what you are attempting to do here is a logical fallacy. It is called the 'No True Scotsman' fallacy. When an example of an evil individual who believes they are doing good in the name of Christ is provided, other Christians seek to separate themselves by claiming that said individual must not be a "real" Christian... Nice try.

Yes, they are pretty clear: Hitler was an ACTUAL Christian for many years. Even while he planned his rise to power and future atrocities. He ran into some control-issues with the Catholic Church in the 1930s which put him at odds with the Church, at which point he began to publicly undermine the Church's power and control. Even after that point, he still believed in god, an afterlife, and that what he was doing was divinely correct.
