I was driving in LA the first time I heard this song -- which had just made the erstwhile and elusive 'Number 1' (i really detest top 40) ... but the soundtrack to Streets of Fire remains one of the most dynamic reactive butt clenching air guitar and microphone wielding pieces of pop culture sing your hearts out acoustic dynamite I've ever bought more than 4 copies of. I'm just glad the media evolved beyond vinyl and magnetic tape! Everything is good about this soundtrack.
