Actually, banshees were typically considered sad; not malevelant.

Except somtimes toward a man who had wronged them in life (ex: a husband or lover who had murdered her).

They weren't thought to have power over men.

And their wail wasn't considered to cause bad luck per se...it was thought to warn that someone would die soon.

They were thought to be grieving for them.

And that is one of the most fake Irish accents that I've ever heard (it sounds more Scottish, than anything else).

I know, it doesn't make a lot of sense, as a feedback loop is something caught in a self-amplifying cycle, like global warming making ice melt that releases even more greenhouse gases into the air that cause more global warming. It's nothing like a reflection at all.

Pretty lazy animation during the capture scene. They weren't paying attention to what they were wearing and they change back and forth. Probably reused cells to save time.
