Multi-touch isn't new, yes but on a cellphone its a novel concept and it works brilliantly. What phone on the market can you compare it too? theres a phone at sprint that has the exact same features as the iphone except it doesn't look like an ipod, you can make the menu screen look exactly like the iphone menu screen... the only reason the iphone is so popular is because it looks just like an ipod.

Get a japanese phone, the japanese have had touch screens and one or more cameras for much longer. The blackjack has the same appplications and programs, but it's only difference is it does not have a touch screen.

I think your whole argument is ridiculous. Technology is ever changing and the iPhone is a milestone as compared to whats available on the market now. Saying that the iPhone is a stupid purchase is a bit harsh and unwarranted unless your getting paid by Apple's competitors to video blog negatively about a great piece of technology. You even said it yourself "the iPhone's elements are FANTASTIC". So what exactly are you complaining about?

What are you talking about? The phone itself is totally brand new. By taking existing technology that was out there and making it useful for consumer market. Multi-touch isn't new, yes but on a cellphone its a novel concept and it works brilliantly. What phone on the market can you compare it too? You should actually try to use one instead of forming a pre-conceived idea that it sucks. You should be embarassed its not even available in Australia.

Define blows it out of the water? I'm on the floor with laughter on how much credit you give yourself having never tried one and then calling it crap. More laughter too when you compare it to a company whos been in the market for more than a decade making cell phones. I've never tried the N95 but I'm sure its a good phone. But the kicker is you live in Australia and out of shear insecurity and ignorance having no knowledge of the phone you call it crap. Thats just stupid.

But I'm a professional engineer, and of my current projects at the moment is developing applications for the 3.5 G network. So i see past the sales hype! And I see iphone is sh*t house in comparison to others.
