Man EVERY team in the NFC South had a superb draft. I know Cam can get it done for us IF he doesnt let all of this fame get to his head. He just signed a 1 million dollar deal with Under Armour and he hasnt played pro yet. Just hope hes not Jamarcus Russell 2.0.

@irockrocky Well, if Cam Newton is anything, he's certainly marketable. I've been reading that Cam is the most marketable athlete in the Carolinas since Larry Johnson was with the Charlotte Hornets... If Newton is successful on the field, he will easily surpass L.J.'s mark.

well done, u know your stuff. the only thing i wanna point out though, is that lance briggs of the bears ran a 4.75 40 yd dash, and he does pretty well playing on the outside.

I really liked the draft, myself. obviously cam, I think both DT's will be in our rotation (or starting), hogan could really be a steal. he could be one of our biggest hitting CB's. I can't see pilares going back to RB. he looks like a very natural reciever to me. it'll be awesome with so many young WR's who compliment each other as they grow in the offense w/ cam in the seasons to come.

i dont think this draft was too bad. we'll just have to see how it all works out. didnt really agree with the newton pick but hey you never know right? ill cheer him all day no matter what i mean after all, he is a panther.

@Hurtsilverio Derek Landri is one of those guys who's never going to be a Pro Bowl guy, but he (like Nick Hayden) has a high motor and gives 110% on every snap. We just needed that extra bulk on the line (with McClain and Fua). I'm excited to see what Cam does against NFL talent. If we were to go .500 this season, I would consider that a tremendous success. Personally, 5 or 6 wins would be a huge positive (especially in our division).

@jasonm42 Well, more than that I think Armanti will have an advantage because he's been exposed to playing in the NFL for a year already. He's going to be more accustomed to the speed of the game, etc. But yes, this will be a new offensive system for everyone!
