Japanese does not translate word-for-word to English, but what I think Kokodoko22 meant was, "We love how Day Dream Believer was sung by Kiyoshirou, don't you? it is nice to hear a song's original version. Also it's pleasant to compare them."

@TheMonkees608 Hello! The word 'square' or 'squares' does not anger Americans. Today, it means a box shape. Back in the 1960's, it was a slang word that described someone who followed traditional ways, not modern ways. (The Monkees were NOT 'squares'!)

I think MrSteveHartman has an old computer that can not display Japanese kanji. When you or Kokodoko wrote in Japanese, MrSteveHartman did not see kanji, he saw only tiny boxes ('squares'). He got mad too fast, it was a misunderstanding. :(

Thanks so much. I have slang word dictionary. But that meaning was Cigarette lol キヨシロウ is Japanese artist name. I think MrSteveHartman saw only "ロ" and might have an image in square. Japanese ppl doesn't speak English. Of course a Japanese speaking English slang is rare (I never met such a person till now) I think he never understands Japanese forever.

I had my American dad view this comment wall. Just he is 57 yrs old soon. And he said that he knew about 'squares'. Maybe I will know that meaning soon (^o^) hehe but he isn't my true dad. @MrSteveHartman: Sometimes, foreign text will show up on someone else's computer as empty boxes, maybe that's why you see squares?

For instance, the comment below that TheMonkees608 wrote to mmm3 (on my screen) shows up as Japanese symbols. If you see boxes, not symbols, then that's because your computer is not configured to 'see' foreign text and show it to you.

This has been a favorite song of mine, for as long as I can remember. Please, let's not be impatient with each other!

this my favorite song. I almost had a heartattack when i see davy sing this at the concert in hersey pa. we all had fun singing this song and jumping around. I felt like a teenager at 52 years old. he makes me feel this way.

@Wilthomer66 - My 13-year-old grandson loves this room. I just started watching the Monkees episodes with him, and whenever a song comes up in this room, he tells me how much he likes it! His dad told him that maybe they can paint his bedroom like that...LOL

BTW, he really likes the Monkees. It's so nice to share something that I enjoyed as a teenager with my grandson. The Monkees Legacy moves on!!!
