What I always was bugged by was this...Cromartie *HAD* to stow his gun under the flesh of his leg? What, did he have to sneak it by metal detectors to get into the school? If so that'd make sense, but if not, why didn't he just carry it in his briefcase? He still could have easily pulled it and fired at John, and in the bargain, he wouldn't have so obviously outed himself as a Terminator through the wound in his leg (in case he had to interact with other humans during his pursuit of John).
@DorianMichaelsIII it never made sense to me either. but i think the most likely reason for it is it's just the writer's way of showing us that Cromartie was the Terminator we saw looking at the computer earlier, instead of us having to be caught off guard by him just trying to shoot John Connor. that probably wasn't the case, but it's just a thought

I mean, for his entire life, they keep coming at him and somehow these machines that are driven by computers with the most advanced targeting systems ever designed... always miss. It's odd that he never notices that their goal isn't to kill him... it's to guide him.
@McGruff5150 Still don't mean 100% accuracy. Machines are good at making calculations. But I'll bet if Skynet or someone with good hacking/programming skills wrote a better AI program for the Terminator's operating system as if hacking a video game, it can be a lot more deadly and efficient at terminating. Like an super aimbot assist, faster gun draw reflex, or a command to assassinate from behind if Cromartie walked down the aisle right behind John while taking roll or pretend to check work.
I love how the Terminator didn't even notice a truck going 50 mph coming at his direction with no preluding engine noise like it appeared outta nowhere in thin air.

Always in almost everything terminator related the terminator has terrible gun aim. if they're programmed with some many things I would think they'd have something for how to aim. -.-

dude the last episode is that camron finished her mission by protecting john and died, and besides skynet already killed john in the future so they dicided wait till then but now they need to wipe out all the members of john's Tech Comm Unit and his wife in T3 then they kill him later on during the war.

Actually, the TV show was far more realistic in their portrayal of Terminators as killing machines.
Unlike the movies, especially T4, when a Terminator got a hold of someone in T:SCC it typically meant they were done for. Not like T4 where the Terminator just throws the human around for 10 minutes instead of owning them in a single blow like the show.
I thought that they handled Terminators extremely well in the tv series, and made them more ruthless than in the movies.
@StarshipPoopers1 It may have been, but I got tired after 8 episodes. The entire premise of terminators and humans going back and forth through time was just appalling. That and the fact that sending terminators back in time was an easy deal. Why not sending a whole bunch of terminators and kill sarah when she was a baby? Or John Connor for that matter, when he was a baby?
@StarshipPoopers1 NO but Is'nt in the movies the endoskeloton harder than this tin foil of a skeloton john conner whith a simple fire grenade melted a t888 in the movies Arnold survived explosions.Cameron killed cromartie with a shotgun in the movies in the movies The model 101 survived being shot in the head by a mini gun with no effect well just losing his organic tissue but still the T-888 is supposed to be more advanced than the T-800 from T1 and T2 and the T-850 from T3.
@enriqueification It wasn't a fire grenade, it was thermite.which can burn at up to 2500C (4500F). The only Terminator that is killed by projectiles in the show that I can recall is Cromartie, and those were depleted uranium shells. Cromartie survived an entire SWAT team's attack.
As with most sci-fi it's hard to stay entirely realistic and consistent. How else would they have killed Cromartie in the middle of the Mexican desert?

@enriqueification DU shells are a bit of a stretch, I agree. Not to mention that they were mentioned after the fact and I can't remember the source, It wasn't established in the show's canon, so who knows.
Cameron takes hundreds of bullets in the final episode and Vick takes a point-blank shotgun blast without real significant physical damage, so the writers were pretty consistent in regular rounds not doing much of anything against Terminators. I think there was more to it than a plot hole...
@StarshipPoopers1 But even though you can't see the damage in the movies if people actually paid attention if to the actual series you'd see that T:4 follows the most realistic and most polished off cycle. The '600 in the beginning is cut in half, John's H&K 416 kills a '600 from pt. blank range. the M-60 on the Huey rips the '600 apart, this is cheesy but HELLA awesome. Didn't think even an '888 could withstand getting racked by an F-150 and being thrown against cars...
@laffyta2 You're forgetting one thing-- the T600s are *vastly less* durable than any Series 8xx-- Cameron herself says that the T600s were made out of a titanium-blend alloy, which while very strong, was much less vulnerable to damage than the coltan hyperalloy that other series (like the Series 800, 850, and 888 and herself, TOK 715) were made of. And the original (T1) T800 was able to survive getting run over and dragged along the ground by a *semi* with only minimal damage.
@DorianMichaelsIII Yes, but think about it. That Ford slamming that 888 should have been severely damaging to his electronics, at least. In fact in the later series you can somewhat see the effects those shocks did to it. And, yes the '600 may not be all that strong, but the '800 series is far too strong for even the movies. John puts 3 or 4 40mm He grenades into it and a handful of Slugs from an Auto-12 shotty with not even a dent in it. Not to mention that fucker survived molten metal too.
This series is sofucking cool.. especially this intro scene dude. Cromartie just walks in, acts like a hotshot Sub. teacher and once he sees john's name, out comes a Glock 23 out of his leg and john somehow dodges the T-888's Aiming system.... and, the best fucking part is where he looks at em while all the kids are just staring at his leg and says ''Class dismissed''... coulda added ''Bitches'' to the end haha
Real good showing, strong story line and very good acting. Summer played very very well, she is so sweet, looks so innocent, sweet and fragile, but there is more than meets the eye. So hard and so soft at the same time.
A real shame Fox canceled the show :-( No third season, no more Cameron, we will never know...

Excellent question. The truth is, the writers are too dumb to realize the hole in their story regarding the fact that anything covered with living tissue should be teleportable.
Here's my question. Why didn't the terminator simply walk around the room WHILE calling attendance and casually walk up to John and put three in his head?
Or why didn't he ask Connor to come to the front of the class? And as he seems to have infra red vision that would mean Cameron should have it too.Why didn't she instantly spot he was a cyborg by the difference in heat? And how did fing a few bullets into her knock her out?
i noticed that the average hand gun can hold 15 bullets per magazie and he only reloaded once and he fired at total 8 shots and then reloaded and then shot 18 times which means he pro reload wen we wernt looking or this tv show messed up or the has a super amazen hand gun that i want to get

@enriqueification It wasn't a fire grenade, it was thermite.which can burn at up to 2500C (4500F). The only Terminator that is killed by projectiles in the show that I can recall is Cromartie, and those were depleted uranium shells. Cromartie survived an entire SWAT team's attack.
As with most sci-fi it's hard to stay entirely realistic and consistent. How else would they have killed Cromartie in the middle of the Mexican desert?

@enriqueification DU shells are a bit of a stretch, I agree. Not to mention that they were mentioned after the fact and I can't remember the source, It wasn't established in the show's canon, so who knows.
Cameron takes hundreds of bullets in the final episode and Vick takes a point-blank shotgun blast without real significant physical damage, so the writers were pretty consistent in regular rounds not doing much of anything against Terminators. I think there was more to it than a plot hole...

@StarshipPoopers1 But even though you can't see the damage in the movies if people actually paid attention if to the actual series you'd see that T:4 follows the most realistic and most polished off cycle. The '600 in the beginning is cut in half, John's H&K 416 kills a '600 from pt. blank range. the M-60 on the Huey rips the '600 apart, this is cheesy but HELLA awesome. Didn't think even an '888 could withstand getting racked by an F-150 and being thrown against cars...

@laffyta2 You're forgetting one thing-- the T600s are *vastly less* durable than any Series 8xx-- Cameron herself says that the T600s were made out of a titanium-blend alloy, which while very strong, was much less vulnerable to damage than the coltan hyperalloy that other series (like the Series 800, 850, and 888 and herself, TOK 715) were made of. And the original (T1) T800 was able to survive getting run over and dragged along the ground by a *semi* with only minimal damage.

@DorianMichaelsIII Yes, but think about it. That Ford slamming that 888 should have been severely damaging to his electronics, at least. In fact in the later series you can somewhat see the effects those shocks did to it. And, yes the '600 may not be all that strong, but the '800 series is far too strong for even the movies. John puts 3 or 4 40mm He grenades into it and a handful of Slugs from an Auto-12 shotty with not even a dent in it. Not to mention that fucker survived molten metal too.

Cromartie just walks in, acts like a hotshot Sub. teacher and once he sees john's name, out comes a Glock 23 out of his leg and john somehow dodges the T-888's Aiming system.... and, the best fucking part is where he looks at em while all the kids are just staring at his leg and says ''Class dismissed''... coulda added ''Bitches'' to the end haha

Real good showing, strong story line and very good acting. Summer played very very well, she is so sweet, looks so innocent, sweet and fragile, but there is more than meets the eye. So hard and so soft at the same time.
A real shame Fox canceled the show :-( No third season, no more Cameron, we will never know...

Oh. Still, wouldn't doing that ruin the story a litte? And not only that would leave permanent damage to the terminator who's skin is broken? And finally, the T-X is polymimetic and is able to make itself take on mechanised form. T:SCC is only at T-1000 level so far, the T-X is forward thinking.

Excellent question. The truth is, the writers are too dumb to realize the hole in their story regarding the fact that anything covered with living tissue should be teleportable.

i noticed that the average hand gun can hold 15 bullets per magazie and he only reloaded once and he fired at total 8 shots and then reloaded and then shot 18 times which means he pro reload wen we wernt looking or this tv show messed up or the has a super amazen hand gun that i want to get

Not sure but the gun he pulls out of his leg looks like it could be a glock. Most full sized glocks hold 17 or 19 rounds so that could be the answer.
