California has so much more to offer than texas ever will. Texas is full of empty land and cows for the most part. I live in Austin right now but my dream is to move back to California. I think Californians are more civilized people than the neighbors I have right now at the moment. Austin and areas around Austin still have an awful amount of country/wildland in it. Sure a lot of it is flat and barren almost with no rest stops, but it's also a diverse state due to it's size.I used to live in North Houston which is fairly nice. Lots of trees and lakes up there, and the weather is humid. I didn't find the traffic to be that bad, but its horrible in Dallas. Also Austin is a very nice looking city with lots of unique shops and bars and lots of high tech.
