Funny how Eurovision is a celebration of very, very ordinary music, yet in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, Ireland and NZ - us lot seem to have grasped what decent music is. I remember a crap band called Bucks Fizz was the only UK band to win a Eurovision - say a lot about this terrible award.

I Agree, except Uk have won it 5 times; Katrina and the waves, Bucks Fizz, Brotherhood of Mann, Lulu(joint first) and Sandie Shaw. I dont think the Eurovision has anything to do with music, to be honest.I dont know what it is supposed to achieve apart from bringing Europe together. I am not sure with the way the voting system works, countries voting either for Neighbours or allies it even does that.

Good comment about the slightly disappointing feel to the song -it feels like its gonna build up and explode, like say, "Tomorrow", but never quite does. Rather like Pleased to Meet You In General. However, most bands would be chuffed to produce a song like this - I think James/Booth suffered under the wait of expectations near the end. What a great band.
