  • YO!! windows 7 home basic get ULTAMATE

  • where is the sticky notes i dont have that on my laptop. :(

  • How can i increase refresh rate of cpu meter gadget??

  • it it posible to adjust the refresh rate on the cpu meter, i have windows 7 instaled and chek't out the gadgets and the cpu meter is kinda slow refreshing compared to vista and i want the acurisy of vista, can i hack the uptade rate ?????

  • what the fuck is that clicking noise

  • It's a sound added by my recording software when I click. It seems like it's a bit behind the video though, probably because of a poor export. Sorry about that!

  • *not

  • w7 is Way better than Vista just got it today :D

    no just a "skin"

  • yea..same thing

  • the new calculator looks awesome and i like the new use of stickey notes.

the snipping tool isnt new but it is really nice. and in vista gadgets could be placed on the desktop in the same way (the sidebar was optional) but i actually kind of liked the sidebar because it added a level of organization which is no longer present.

  • i guess microsoft will get it right with this OS, too bad i bought vista for my desktop. i will hold out on this one then

  • Will it run on a HP Mini 110 Netbook?

  • Of course it's just an improved Vista, that's how you develop software! Look at every Linux and Mac and Sun distro out there, you just improve what you already have and update the version number. I am so glad that Microsoft caught on to this, now they wont think they have to re-write the entire thing every time before making a release. As a side note, it is a huge improvement from Vista, it's faster , and has more features.

  • Windows 7 is obviously just a service pack to windows vista

  • It adds a lot more functionality (and stability!) than a service pack would, but because of the lame final release of Vista (and subsequent service pack releases),Windows 7 really ought to be given out as a free upgrade to those who already have Vista.

  • Yea, its defiantly a really well finished version of vista. Its what we should have gotten in the first place and it should be a 20-30$ upgrade to a version thats equal to ours. Like premium vista to premium 7 etc..

  • completely wrong my friend,it uses half the resources and works better in my opinion. vista is shit. windows 7 was pretty much an apology for vista.

  • Its not that good dude. I would say 1/3 less ram usage and 1/5 less cpu usage. With is very impressive. But still uses a lot of same firmware that vista used.

  • hmm...looks like my vista sidebar...on my XP

  • The Snipping Tool was also in Vista
