I love this Tonya. Let me tell you, I bought a dress for 5 dollars at forever 21 and it looks GREAT on. And the quality is just as good as anything expensive. People dont understand that this expensive stuff are made in the same places as the cheap stuff. (unless its American made, which people dont wear lol). Anyhow, GREAT vid and at my age I am coming into realization of savings and completely being on my own. And I feel you on the college thing as well.

I had a scholarship that paid tuition but the rest was left up to me (i.e. financial aid) and after school expenses I had to pay for everyday survival, which left me in too much debt. Beyond that, I have to get on my feet after college all on my own. Technically I am an adult but it sucks when you are doing it alone after high school.

I so agree with shopping at Marshalls and thrift shops. When I foun out how much money I could save and look good too, how I could and stil will buy a $10 top and then find a pair of Adrienne Vittadini shoes or some other name brand at Marshalls, or how I could afford a designer bag, because I cut back on frivolous spending, girl it was a wrap.

If you are a part of a credit union that is also an excellent way to build your credit becasue it helps you two fold....One....the payments from the loan are taken directly out of your checkin account so you KNOW you are going to pay that loan off....if you stay employed at the company..and Two...because its a bank loan too, you are showing your credit worthiness...I LOVE credit counseling!!!

#1: If the clothes are not expensive, they are raggedy? You can werar good quality, named brand clothes at inexpensive pirces if you know where to shop.

#2: Self esteem is what you know about yourself, that's why is is SELF esteem. Never give anyone the power to determine how good or unworthy you are.

#3: If your mom cant afford the clothes you have, who buys them? If you are a teen, get an afterschool job and buy your clothes to help your mom!!!!

I was just on another channel a few hours ago and someone was criticizing me saying there is no real substance on my channel just a bunch of eye manipulation and body shots, and I'm like wtf? I try to drop some sort of science every day, and its interesting that you picked up on the different points of reference discussed in this video. We talk about a lot here. One way that I am able to save is buy buying silver and gold. Physical, precious metals, commodities not jewelry. You are less likely to sell your investment but at the same time its just about as liquid as you can get besides cash. You can also play the market with it and make a few extra dollars along the way.

Awesome vid. I really like CDs they are good for when you are saving or setting money aside. I also like to set up special accounts for things.
