  • Valentine is an appropriate name for a bird that sings with such passion. What a moving performance! Bravo!

  • Thank you so much for your kind comments. He loves to sing with me or the radio. I will post more as soon as I can figure out why it isn't loading properly!

  • and your bird can sing !

    fab

  • Thanks! I made another of him singing with my son, but am having a heck of a time trying to get it uploaded!! Will keep trying!

  • Actually..........Ol' Valentine there sings much better than me, so...maybe you should get him some guitars lessens, and we'll let him set in with us....

  • Good idea!! He could be quite a guitar player with that built in guitar pick on his face!!

Thanks for watching my baby sing!

  • You sing better than the bird LOL! When are we going to see you take the stage?Your Valentine Rocks!

  • that was to funny

  • Yes....he is a lot of fun

  • Obviously, he stopped singing because he forgot the words!

  • LOL....yeah...I had to stop his Italian lessons due to the economy....

  • What a beautiful bird! I love it!!

  • Thank you! He is a true music lover...sings all the time when I do, or with the radio! He may not know all the words, but he is usually right on key! LOLOL

  • He also does a bang up job on 'Take ME Out to the Ballgame'. I will try to get that on video soon!

  • cute, Miss P... he may have had a little stage fright since the camera was on him! :-)

  • The main caveat on HD is if you're thinking about doing video editing or not. You'll need some significant horsepower on your computer if you go down the HD route. On the flip side "HD" is a great choice if you just want to connect the camcorder to your HDTV and forgo the video editing.

  • Great idea on the Circuit City Buy. It's a little early for great buys. In my day job I rep for a major disk storage company so I'm in Best Buy everyday. Are you on Twitter. It's a great way to find out info.

The biggest decision you'll probably need to make is whether to purchase an HD camcorder. There are some caveats and I'll be happy to share them with you. The camcorder became invaluable when Tango started chewing on his foot. I was able to send video to cockatoo and experts and my vet.

  • OK..I'll bite..what are the caveats on HD? I am still at the DVD vs digital debate. Do some have both features?

  • Great name for a cockatoo. M2? U2? The video is very dark. Are you using your digital camera to shoot the video?

In April 09 I will be teaching an online course on video editing. A percentage goes to The Gabriel Foundation.

  • Yes..he is U2, and the camera was just a digital camera. I plan on getting a regular camcorder(Circuit City is tanking..should be a few good deals there..lol) I will upload more as I get a bit more proficient. This was more or less a self lesson on uploading onto Youtube. Thanks...I may be interested in the course too!!

  • LOL So cute!!!

  • Thank you! He is almost 12 now..we have had him since he was 6 months old.
