i will give you a advice for a cheap and good gaming pc

1 : cpu upgrade to core 2 quad core 2.6ghz

2 : gpu upgrade to 2x 9800gt SLI

3 : 4gb of ram ddr3 1333mhz recomended for games

4 : upgade hard disk to 7200 rpm western digital 1TB or 500GB

5 : and upgrade psu to 620w with 650w maximum

and you will play all games smoothly and thats very cheap upgrade you will give about 200-350 euros not dollars on dollars i think about 500 with 450 dollars and you are ok!!

@pacmon99 Upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium. No problems with it what so ever though I wouldn't say it was any faster than XP, at least for me.

I used to have this case. Although it looks nice, it's terrible build quality and is mostly plastic (as well as noisy - squeaks and creaks alot)

He's using XP because XP is compatible with almost everything lol...Vista 32 sucks, and he may not have Vista Ultimate 64 bit, and Windows 7 is brand new. Also XP is just cheap.

@JamesProduction0 Windows xp is bad. It dose not support direct x 10, 10.1, or 11. Sure you might get an exrta frame or two in a game, but you get better graphics with vista. (if you have at least 4GB of ram)

Windows 7 is better than Vista.

Windows 7 performs almost as well as Xp assuming you have over 2GB of ram and if you're a gamer You need over 2gb anyways.

Agreed, why would you actually recommend Vista...anyway XP does me fine and I will probably be upgrading to Windows 7 when it is released. Gave the Beta a whirl and seemed a pretty nice OS.

Nope, it was two optional 80mm fans. Which was odd seeing as the grill seemed like it was meant for a 120mm. I guess you could mod a 120mm fan to fit without a problem.

well if ur gonna use a 64-bit OS than go for about 8GB, and ur pc will be flying. now about the CPU. if u can afford the core i7, go for it

What DVD Drives are you using?? im gonna get that Case but i cant find any CD ROM that can Boot Windows Vista Ultimate and have Lightscribe maybe but necessarily Blue-Ray Disc.

In this video ive just got 2 standard sony dvd drives. But in my latest videos and right now i have a Samsung super writemaster drive.

Not using a blue ray drive or anything.

If you dont mind asking what is the lenght and the width of all the drives you ever used on Apevia X-Cruiser. Sorry but i find it really hard to find a CD Drive for this case... it say it had 5.25" drive bays but all i find is 5.75"

The case has four standard 5.25" drive bays. I dont see what the issue is. Most standard DVD drives fit in a 5.25" drive bay.

Well for starters learn the basics of where all the parts rest in the system via youtube, google, or any other computer website (Except places where you buy stuff). Then ask around.

I'm part of overclockers (dot) net. We do a lot of that kind of thing.

my friend used black spray paint to make the inside of his case black, you should be fine :) just let it dry first before you put it back in

doesnt really effect temps much as i only have it on when its cold. and anyway hot is being exhausted that way rather than acting as an intake.

I think this is a smart build. The parts don't seem too expensive. How much was this?? More importanlly, how does it play games and which games do you have?

yeah it was a budget build. though i did use dvd drives and hard drives from my old computer so i would save a little bit of cash doing that.

i couldnt really say how much in total because i recently got the bfg 8800gts and corsair hx 520w psu.

it plays most of my games pretty well . i run max settings (and 4xaa or 2xaa) on the following games: cod4, css, tf2, company of heroes, bf2, test drive unlimited, and a couple others.

oh and also when i got most of this stuff, so processor and the like the e4400 cost about £70 and now i think you can get it for like £40. see my other videos as originally i had a 8600gts in there.
