The Romanians got tight scores on floor, but Belu's bitching about their going in the first round didn't matter much. This was an enormous gift, as were a lot of their scores on bars. No way this should have hit a 9.7, let alone a 9.837.

it's infuriating that she went 9.8+ on two compulsory events that she didn't stick landings for

and wasn't even that great on them to begin with. everyone always talks about the overscoring for the americans in 96, but romania got many scoring gifts in compulsories. Dawes, Miller and Shrug and Mo Huilan all did better and scored less. Even Moceanu's with the hop had better form in the air. There are form issues in the air. definitely should have been below 9.75

Is not only the step is that she open her legs a little bit before landing and I think she can get more altitude. Look for example Nadia and Nelli that they used to to do this landing and compare.

@romaniangymnast i love romanian gymnasts but she didnt stick the landing and her legs were separated so this should have been 9,7 at best.

i can't believe she scored higher then amanar on this compulsory vault!!! thank god she recieved a not so good score in optionals or she would of made vault finals and amanar wouldnt of
