  • fuck you mma noobs, its mixed martial arts, lyoto machida uses pure martial arts, if you know how it works, iv studied shotokan and to see machida execute those moves perfectly is amazing, its funny how all these boxing fan crossovers are the ones who take the piss out of ground fighting and and machida's style, true mma fans understand!

  • @Everett345 Lyoto Machida is entertaining to watch especially if you can understand what he's doing and trying to set up.

Whenever he has a finish it's always either KO or Submission of the Night.

  • lyoto makes terrible fights

  • @Everett345 if you were a fighter could you honestly say you'd want to give the fans a good fight and lose rather than fight your fight and win. i know we all want to be amazing but its their career. plus if you really love and know about MMA then there are very few boring fights, except when they stay in one ground position and do nothing.

  • the first two rounds could of gone either way the 3rd round was a 100% machida so rampage barely won the decion people don't realise machida is p4p best fight anyway

  • I had rampage winning the two rounds, machida won the 3rd round

  • I give Quinton alot of respect. this aint the only time he admitted that he thought he lost when the judges favored him. In an international fight, he won a fight but felt he lost and walked to his opponent and raised his hand to let him know he thought his opponent won the fight. Funny and talks shit, but very humble.

  • Rampage is a scared nigger

  • @Dilly5 Would be nice if you drowned in a bucket of shit...

  • Cool video, thanks for sharing.

  • @RampageNuthuggers: If Machida won the fight, would you be saying Rampage was robbed? nuff said.

  • check the stats, of the fight , machida landed much more punches and kicks,

machida put rampage in way more dangerous situations... and finally , if there would be a 4th round machida would easilyy knocked rampage out , for everyone machida won the fight , exept dana and the judges ,, now the criteria to win fights is entertainment .

  • @heltonkuhn1 your right, i had him winnnin the 1st and 3rd round.. anyways its all about Dana. hes not putting them to fight again bc he knows he wont make enough cash outta that fight.. fuckin piece of shitt

  • Machida with me is not only a idol but also a inspiration of my life man. Highly respect this guy for the rest of my life.

  • Honestly, Machida gets the most irrational hate in MMA world. Japanese hate Akiyama because he greased. People hate Jon Fitch because he is "terribly boring". Okay, whatever.

But Machida? Machida is not boring. Machida does not cheat. For Machida haters, the hate comes first before reason. Whatever reason they give for hating Machida is merely an excuse and justification of their own irrational wicked hate.

Rampage, now respects Machida's style. Maybe you guys should too.

  • I like how after MAchida KO's Silva and takes the title from Rashad, everyone who said Lyoto was "scared" and likes to "run" all of a suddent went quiet and jumped on the, "he's elusive!!!" bandwagon. Then after shogun beat him he's "running scared" again. Its wack. Anyone who knows MMA knows that Lyoto is a defensive, counterpuncher, so obviously he's not going to bullrush in. Machida moves, cuts angles, and makes you miss. "octagon control" does not mean coming forward.

  • @JustinThoj i know right like what the fuck? make up your mind joe rogan.. cause its always him talking shit or on someones nuts

  • When Lyoto doesn't finish a fight it will usually leave controversy. It's hard to judge a fight when a fighter decides not to engage during a majority of the fight. He is great but he's just not that exciting for the most part.

  • My honest opinion.. machida was running scared the whole fight.. but he did give rampage a pretty good fight @ the end.. Nobody in the 205 division, wants to really bang it out, toe-to-toe with rampage.. I want to to see rampage vs evans 2. Rampage should get a title shot soon.. Much respect to lyoto machida though.. bc he can knock you out, @ any given time with a head kick..

  • no rematch bitches. rampage won so eat a dick.

  • @Gacktosan3 you people make me sad, just cant accept your hero lose sorry buddy.

  • @Gacktosan3 Dumbass? whatever it doesn't matter if Rampage said he thought he lost lol, he re-corrected his statement gtfo and go watch some Machida videos loser.

  • @Gacktosan3 LOL your funny i love it when people see there favorite fighter lose then they try to make up shit. Rampage himself said he thought he lost because of that 3 punch explosive at the end machida did. And so what if machida exploded at the end? doesn't mean anything does that count for the whole fight? no lol Ignorant people these days.

  • Machida did not win, just because he exploded with 3 punches at the end doesn't mean anything Rampage hit Machida like 10 times in the face so don't be mad your hero Machida lost.

  • @BeyondRelativity Ya Machida prob woulda won if it was JMMA scoring... hopefully Machida will learn from this loss and try harder 4 a decisive win nxt time. Machida was fighting Rampage like he had 5 rounds to win instead of 3.

  • IT WOULD BE LESS CONTROVERSIAL IF MACHIDA WON THE FIGHT. ALL YOU RAMPAGE NUT HUGGERS WOULD ACCEPT IT BUT SINCE HE GOT THE NOD YOU DEFEND HIS NUTS. I'M A PAGE FAN AND I'VE MET THE THE DUDE IN REAL LIFE WHO'S COOL AS HELL BUT I DON'T AGREE ON WINNING THIS FIGHT BY HIM THROWING A BUNCH OF INEFFECTIVE PUNCHES MOST OF THE FIGHT THEN GETTING TOTALLY SCHOOLED IN A FLURRY THAT WAS BASICALLY AN MMA BEATDOWN CLINIC. RD1 AND 2 WASN'T EVEN A FIGHT, BOTH DIDN'T DO JACK SHIT 2 EACH OTHER. RD 3 WS THE FIGHT.

  • @2:44 Thank rampage, that the difference btw japan org. and ufc. There was honor and respect but here in american its about the dollar bill. Dana white is out for the cash and could care less about honor and the fighter's respect. Dana is the new Don King of MMA.

  • look quinton is the man win lose or draw, hands down, PERIOD. we all know that it wasnt the most decisive win its very easy to point out but how bout the notion that stylistically its just a bad match up and as they say styles make fights i bet if they fought again probably similar results, lets say jackson vs rua II now thats a match im sure would be great from start to finish.

  • for me the best thing that machida did in the third round is that he give up the arm cotrol on rampage,he s very close to his 2nd k.o..:)

  • @ivanhoe29ful THIS WAS MACHIDA'S MISTAKE IN WHICH HE SHOULDN'T OF LET THE ARM BAR GO. IT WOULD OF GIVEN MACHIDA MORE LEVERAGE SINCE NOW MACHIDA HAS HIS WHOLE BODY WEIGHT TO HELP HIM BREAK THE HOLD. BJJ CONCEPTS ALWAYS WORKS IF APPLIED CORRECTLY BUT YOU JUST HAVE TO QUICK ON MAKING ADJUSTMENTS FOR LEVERAGE AND GOING FOR IT.

  • machida and his fans are all assholes!!! its better for him to fight rashad, or could i say evans vs. machida 2? match of 2 boring fighterss in mma!!!lol

  • It should have been a draw (at least).

I would give Rampage the first two rounds (10-9, 10-9) and then I would give Machida the third (10-08, since he dominated the round).

  • machida got robbed wtf

  • how do you guys eat your reeses

  • Davis likeis Rampagis

  • I can't wait Shogun KO Evans in first round and than do a rematch with Rampage and once more again - KO Rampage..

  • fukin judges...on doubt, they will ALWAYS choose the american. Machida so won this...

  • @SilverEyezzz No, he did not my friend. did you see the first two rounds?

  • @Macgyvernr1 yea pal i watched the whole event. 1st round machida was like a lil bit better, 2nd round was rampage for sure, and on the 3rd rampage got his ass kicked. In my opinion, the max that it could be judged was draw in 1st round, 2nd to rampage, and 10-8 machida on the 3rd, cuz rampage did nothing but getting beated.

  • i wanted to see the fight so bad but got disappointed, that shit was boring! i'm a big machida fan but i like rampage also, i wanna see the fucken rematch DANA!!! even though i'm a big machida fan i'm gonna be honest with this, rampage won the fucken fight! lets face it, machida ran around too much and less striking while rampage trying to push the pace, its obvious that machida is still suffering from his ko lose to shogun...i'm still a big machida fan and i'm sure he'll be back..rampage won...

  • @oooImFOCUSooo your crazy kid. machida landed 36 strikes while rampage only landed 14. Machida was waiting for rampage to attack so he could counter it thats why he moves around alot. thats his style. so machida got robbed for his win. some ppl say it was pay back for when machida robbed shogun.

  • @oooImFOCUSooo what the freak are you talking about. Even Rampage was stunt when they announced he won that game. You tell everyone that you are a big fan of Machida and you didnt know that his style is lured people chasing him and then he suddenly fight back. Better know what are you talking about man.

  • @oooImFOCUSooo I like Machida too, i just hope he goes back and fight like he did back in Japan. aggressivve but elusive too.. i still think he got the 1st round, by leg kicks. and the 3rd.. idk

but i saw the fight many times and i had him winning... anyways. hope he gets back and beats Courture

and hopefully he fights for the title again

  • @oooImFOCUSooo amen brother.

  • I just want to note that the 2 judges in the main event that scored this fight for Rampage are the same 2 judges that scored the fight earlier that night for Nick Lentz. Yes the same judges who the majority of UFC fans feel proved in 123's first fight that they are unaqualified to score for the UFC. ALSO the same judge who scored that fight for Machida is the same Judge who actually got the Griffin Lentz fight CORRECT. Why they even let Blatnick and D'amatos score the main event is beyond me.

  • I want to talk about something else, why the U.S. public, they are booing when the fight is not much contact, just shut up band of idiots, if you want to see punches all around watching fights in schools, if you want to see professional fights have a little more respect and education.

    THANKS

  • @neoconker well said. people have no respect and there idiots. Americans are so impatient and they always want constant action because they don't know better

  • I guess Machida doesn't realize that karate was created for the sole purpose of self defense. I studied karate for 6 years and know from experience that 90-100% of the strikes are counter based. That means you can only win if your opponent doesn't know how to attack effectively. That wasn't the case with Shogun or Rampage.

  • fuck i think machida won hands down he took the 3rd round fa sure rampage had the 2nd but the first round was close but machida won

  • I can't believe there is not going to be a rematch.

  • I can't believe there is no going to be a rematch.

  • I RESPECT THE HELL OUT OF RAMPAGE!!!!!!! also MACHIDA, much love to MMA.

  • rampage won even if the judges woulda gave the fight to machida RAMPAGE won that fight

  • I think we should put a back up sensor on machida. So everytime he backs up he'd sound like a truck. Atleast the fight would be entertaining

  • Fight could've gone either way, just like Shogun vs. Machida 1. So there should be no complaints about the decision. The only difference with this fight is that Rampage admits that he feels he lost. Machida never admitted that Shogun fought better in their first fight. If I were the judge, I would've said 29-28 Machida. But maybe this is Machida's karma coming back to him?

  • rampage is awesome

  • I think Machida's first loss has affected him psychologically and that was why this fight was not all that great! People! replay the fight over and over again, pausing and replaying the action every time they engaged and you would find that Rampage landed more. Punches carry more weight in judging than mere leg kicks. Even the headkick to the head of Rampage at the third round did not land but only hit Rampage's hand as he covered up during the flurry.

  • WHAT THE FUCK happend to machida??? He was a complete different fighter. He wasent even using his traditional karate, he was fighting like rashad evans for god´s sake! He lost his identity and has dissapointed all karatekas that beleieve in him

  • I love Rampage; But Machida got robbed; Ive never seen such biased judging; put any other two fighters in there, and there would be riot for that bullshit.

  • @logician008 i gues u never saw the fight either cuz rampage cuz rampage won the 1st 2 rounds.

  • machida landed more kicks in the first round and a few punches so he won go n watch the video,he whooped him in the 3rd easy style, page fans just cant handle the truth,go ask rampage who won lol

  • Everybody saw that Machida won, even Rampage thought so. The judges need to stop drinking so much I guess.

  • @meningzegger machida didnt win u r just saying that cuz of the last round before the fight ended but the judges are judging the whole fight and not just remembering the last round.

  • @LilBlitz116 No, because Machida won the 3rd round convincingly. The other 2 rounds were won by nobody, they were even. And if somebody gave 1 of those 1st 2 rounds to Rampage, he certainly didn't win it convincingly but with much smaller margin compared to the way Machida took the 3rd round. A rematch will be best.

  • @meningzegger when you run around70% of a fight, you dnt score octagon control points.. nor did he out punch rampage.. dnt be a sore loser.. machida lost point blank.. rampage only made tht statement, bc he didnt knock machida out, and he didnt want to seem too cocky..

  • @kosntown610 The so called "running around" is part of his style.

  • @meningzegger did you even watch this video?

  • @meningzegger i know machida clearly won

  • @meningzegger i know machida clearly won

  • @scott090919 Rampage fights winner of forrest and franklin

  • Excellent fight, and I think Rampage will be getting the winner of Griffin vs Franklin for a title shot. Griffin vs Rampage 2 would be a great fight, as would Rampage vs Franklin...

  • I'm glad it ended in decision. I like both fighters alot and I didn't want either guy to get submitted, KO'd or TKO'd. I'm curious to see how Rampage does against Rua because I'm pretty sure Rua will win. Good card.

  • I thought Machida won the fight as well, but really neither fighter did enough to dominate/ Machida should had been a little more aggressive in round one, he seemed to hold back a little too much. Not himself until the third round, which everyone agrees he won big.

  • Rampage won the 1st round for sure machida won the 3rd round for sure the 2nd round could have gone either way

  • PrideFC will never fade!!! xD

  • Comment removed

  • The feeling I got when I was watching the fight is : Machida trying hard to avoid the knock out, avoid the real confrontation... The judges probably had that same feeling so they gave rampage the victory that's it !

  • yeah, you know what... everyone has been saying about the Gerald and Falcao fight and I just checked it... The bell rang when there was still 6 full seconds (5 at least) before the time ran out in the 1st round??? WTF is going on?? Dana needs to address this...

and it's flying under the radar. This needs to be addressed.

  • hahah machoda lost 2 figths

  • @leobrownbear

    AGREED

but you can't deny that shields doesn't deserve to jump over fitch and get a title shot.

he beat hendo at 185, not at 160, he wasn't a WW champion strikeforce. it was at MW. he was a 1 time WW champ at elite-xc but it doesn't give him the resume that fitch does.

you would agree that the only real reason why he's getting a shot because shields vs GSP would make more MONEY than fitch vs GSP just like how koscheck was suddenly picked to fight him next, kos draws a crowd.

  • rampage was the aggressor in the first 2 rounds but aggression is stupid. machida is a counter fighter meaning he doesnt push foward unless he has too. let me put it this way though for you retards.... silva vs maya! maya was the aggressor all 5 rounds yet silva won. so now you see why aggression is stupid? lets go on statistics in mma not stupid shit. either way it was a great tactical fight but rampage didnt clearly win the first round it could have gone either way. dana is a blind retard

  • @Noblewar hence the SPLIT DECISION retard. what are you complaining about. you can't dominate one round and expect to win a decision. the 10 point must scoring system doesn't work that way. even in the stats at fight metric PER ROUND. jackson was ahead in 1 and 2. if it was the scoring system in JAPANESE K-1, then maybe machida would have won. but it ain't. so deal with it. jackson was clearly the winner at that fight. but he wasn't clearly the better fighter.
  • @Donpaeng go check out bloody elbow or even google ufc 123 statistic and on the very top click and it should guide you to BE. if you find a site that says first two rounds were clearly rampages please link it to me because everywhere i look i see the same shit.

  • @Noblewar

told you dude fightmetric . com

    google (jackson vs machida fightmetric)

than look at the stats per round.

  • @Donpaeng ....I think you're right. This is where Machida's defensive patience bit him in the butt. I think Machida is clearly a better fighter....and given 5 rounds....more than likely would have won. BUT....he didn't do enough in the first two. So, it is what it is...as much as we shouldn't "need" one...I do think a rematch is in order.

  • @WarBeer well said, machida took too long to get his timing in order. he probably was still faced by his last fight. hence the unusual clinching by machida. you could tell he wasn't as confident as before. he didn't counter as much, instead he tried to go for the evans game plan. he performed well when his corner told him that he was down on the rounds. i think machida is the much more complete fighter. but he was never mentally as confident as before. hence the loss.
  • @Donpaeng ....I really think Machida is one the most talented fighters out there. Personally, I don't find his style boring to watch....I think it's a style that actually would be equally effective in real-life situations as well. I DO think that he's one of those fighters that would benefit from fighting with a little more abandonment. People are all complaining about him now...and I do understand why....but if you watch his earlier fights....you know that the guy "can" be vicious.

  • @WarBeer

really i do find him "interesting" to watch.

personally because of his unorthodox way of fighting and how he often gets the job done.

angling in and out perfectly timed counter shots.

realistically i didn't think shogun would actually beat him, but he did it perfectly.

machida's weakness is that the karate stance does not teach you to tuck your chin in, like in boxing.

if you get the timing with the overhand right...... :x

that's what machida was afraid of in this fight.

  • personally machida just need's to get his swagger back and killer instinct and he'll be back better than ever.

he was seemingly reluctant in this fight, he didn't do what he did best.

    STRIKE.

instead he tried to do the safe route and try to win through EVANS game plan.

    was out of his element.

had he tried to strike with rampage the outcome would have been different.

he could have picked him apart with technical striking

but i guess shogun really planted the seed of doubt in him.

  • @Donpaeng I think you're spot on....and with the karate chin too. And if he stays on the attack it's a mute point....can't really tuck the chin and give a 100% swing...which is one of the reasons Machida is such a killer striker....when he does go in....he goes straight in...BUT it does leave him set up for a counter (like Shogun) if he misses. I just think that's another reason I enjoy watching his fights....when he goes....he's committed.

  • @Noblewar ...I felt like....even though Rampage threw more punches....Machida was more tactical...and was never in any kind of trouble....I think that first round was the least clear...no doubt

  • @WarBeer machida was just running away he seemed gun shy

  • @matrixlone ...I agree....I think he felt desperate....and let the previous fights get to him ....more than he should have.

  • @Noblewar You're calling people who know machoda lost retards yet you don't even know how to spell MAIA......... Get machodas dick out of your mouth and try to look at the fight objectively. Your boy literally ran for the first two rounds, he did whatever he could to not engage Rampage. Please explain to me why that deserves more credit than someone who brings the fight.

  • i like how rampage talked about pride brings back so much memory.

  • I much prefer Quinton when he's humble like this. Fantastic.

  • wahhhhh his coach was lance gibson? lol

    surprised rampage won...

  • Pride never Dies

  • I find it very funny that if Machida were GSP and Page were Kos, had they put on the same performance that we saw Nov 20th, i ASSURE you fans reactions and feelings about the decision would be much different, even if it had been that EXACT same fight. I also assure you Dana would be all over getting an immediate rematch put together and would be bitching and moaning about the decisions, whether it be about the judges themselves or the scoring system, u KNOW he'd be throwin a shit fit.

  • Rampage must really like water.

  • the fight i saw was a 2 rounds to 1 to Rampage, you don't have to forget that there's a round scored system nowadays, so if Machida lose the first two rounds either finish the fight (which he couldn't do) or lose, and he lost just because of that... So stop saying Rampage shouldn't have taken that decision, he just got his ass whooped but i could finish the fight and earned the decision...

  • Hampage should of earned a DRAW

  • ur crazy for thinking machida won the fight he won the thrid round only... everytime rampage press himm in the first he would grab a hold of rampage and try and take him down and rampage defending all his takedown till the last round... watch the fight again...

  • @raiola66

    So yeah.. Machida got robbed

  • I had Rampage winning r1 10-9, r2 10-9, and losing r3 badly(10-8 For Machida maybe? :O). So, the fight twas a draw..ish; IDK.

  • @MoshpitAchilles you cant give 10-8 to rampage for the third round unless he deserved to get a point taken away from doing an illegal move :b judges dont take away points unless a fighter deliberately avoids combat

  • @BobtheFoB 10-8 to machida, not rampage. and rampage did absolutely nothing in the third round so it's debatable whether or not it's a 10-8 or 10-9. either way, i still think rampage won

  • machida won 1st round and 3rd wtf

  • Machida clearly won. But rampage on the other hand did not say he was the clear winner so respect for that.

  • much respect for Rampage for his honesty..!! you are the man

  • LOL! "I wouldn't wanna watch it though!"

  • come on, guys. Machida ran the whole time. even when he had jackson in trouble in the third round he still made no effort to end the fight. I'm not saying Rampage clearly won, but neither did lyoto. he was timid the entire bout, afraid to open up and possibly get knocked out.

  • Shame on UFC! Shame on UFC! Shame on UFC! Shame on UFC! Shame on UFC!

Shame on D$n$ White, even more like Don King.

  • Rampage all day HATERs he won he stood there and banged em not like machida running away

  • Spin City.

Machida clearly won that fight. Of course Rampage has to backtrack and act as if he indeed won the fight, but to see Dana acting so indignant as if there's no question---ridiculous.

Dana is very touchy now because of several recent questionable decisions.

  • jake shields got nothing on GSP :P

  • @XxPropheticxX Look at the list of people that Shields beat. Its impressive i think Jake will give him a hell of a fight but he wont win. Gsp will stand with him cuz thats jakes weak point

  • @aaronmrn

jake's resume isn't as impressive as jon fitches at 170.

shields decision to fight in 185 really fucked up his physiology.

he used to be a stud at 170 in elitexc.

the last fight he had at 170 was in 2008 since martin kampmann

it would be better if he got a rematch with condit.

and if he wins that. than please give him a championship match.

that's what they did with shogun before he got a titles shot.

i just don't think it's fair to the other fighters at 170.

  • @nizepart0519 LofukingL.

  • Rampage had a good case for winning Round 1 and 2 10-9, Machida won Round 3 but not convincingly enough to be a 10-8. Tough one for the judges to call, could have gone either way.

Don’t leave it in the hands of the judges, often the AGRESSOR will win if it goes to decision.

  • @espada9 I agree. Had Lyoto knocked rampage down with that flurry it might had made the difference.

  • I think people are just babying Rampage. Machida definitely won that fight.

  • I like how Rampage was willing to fight even with a fever. Shows how much he cares for his fans. He may not be the most technical fighter but I dont care because He has a ton of heart.

  • rounds 1 & 2 really close.... and round 3 machida fer sure...

but i had rampage up on the score cards ... dude was pushing the fight

at all times... swinging he pretty much chased machida during the 1st two...

but man machida almost left rampage in stanky leg mode..

  • Rampage LOST THAT FIGHT.

This shit is turning like boxing in SHOWTIME.

I wonder who paid who.?????????? Judges ???

  • @Desi9 call a doctor so he can remove the poop in your eye.

  • @misterzeerow wtf are u talkin about

  • @cookieman115 agreed. isnt mma such a rewarding sport to watch and practice.

  • @blusuck what a noob question right ? haha

  • @magz1995 haha yeah , he went like "I AINT NO RICARDO ARONA !!!"

  • @i3kel he is unable to compel to your request due to serious lack of intellenge.

  • @dirtyminded604 I know what im talking about. MMA , K-1 and grappling all have been a passions of mine since the late 90's . Im deducting from your previous statement concerning the UFC main event that you dont know much about the sport.

    MMA isnt "fighting" ...there's rules.

I train 4 days a week, I just bought a new sand bag because i ripped the previous one.

your arguments dont stand. calling me an asshole and being all condescending only makes you look silly...

  • Comment removed

  • @misterzeerow You're not the only one who trains bud. And you buying a new sand bag doesn't interest me in the slightest. Machida won the fight. Even Rampage thought so, as well as one judge. The other two judges were busy starring at Arianny's breasts. It's another bad decision call by the judges. Shogun was robbed the first Machida fight, and Machida now knows how it feels.

  • I like Machida as well anyone who knocks out Rashad Evans is OK by me lol.

  • I'm from the same hometown as Rampage so I guess I have to be a fan

  • It's been a long time since Rampage was that focused.

  • phil would beat rampage imo, well mibi nxt yr

  • im losing faith in the ufc we need 2 change a few things starting with judging, cuz of machidas style he lost the fight, machida clearly landed way more powerful shots n kicks, at one point he threw page down on his ass lol page knows deep down he lost also dw says fans should b happy with the free cards there gettin and that is making up for ufc 112 which is retarded,we would of been gettin these shitty cards anyway dw is a joke

  • Dana white said there will be no rematch! lolool Rampage vs Rashad 2! BANG TIDY!

  • Comment removed

  • @StrayedWolf in the third round... after rampage did more in the first two rounds...

  • @StrayedWolf Machida has to learn that you have to fight to finish if your not a popular guy that everyone loves. Yes Machida won but I'm glad that happen to him, maybe his next fight he'll come out and stop backing away for 12 of the 15 minutes he fights. Hate Rampage though, i'm pissed he got a win out of that shitty performance.

  • @StrayedWolf

It's a spectator sport... and no one wants to watch someone run like a pussy.

That's why he lost and I applaud the judges decision.

  • YOU GUYS ARE NUTS, RAMPAGE WON ROUNDS 1 &2....DEFINITIVELY!! Rampage was more aggressive and landed more shots in the clinch.

  • @lonnie333 FINNLY SOME ONE WHIT GOO EYES !!!!! RAMPAGE WON !!!

  • @StrayedWolf I could see how u would see it this way. I watched the fight 3 times over and still had rampage winning the first 2 rounds. octagon control is also a factor in points. Machida chose not to engage until the last 3 minutes of the fight. I thought machida was going to win but I was a little let down by his performance. I think the rua lose has made him extra cautious u know?

  • @StrayedWolf

My friend, they cant win if moveing most of time backwards. Its damn hard to hit sameone like that. When Anderson Silva does it only at the beginning, then Machida does it all the way. If he wants to win his next match, he needs to do lot more damage then that to compensate his ´´running away´´ style.

  • @StrayedWolf rampage didn't win by aggression, he scored more take downs and dictated the pace of the fight... he also landed more strikes... explain your point?

  • @BINGBONGGG Rampage had one takedown in the second round, then Machida rocked him, but the bout ended before Machida could capitalize. In the third round, Machida rocked Rampage, sent him reeling backwards, took him down and fired off two submissions. Explain your point then?

  • @StrayedWolf Rampage won the first 2 rounds. So it's 2-1 for Rampage.

how MMA judging works, not just the UFC, is that each round is based on a 10 point system. So after the end of the round, the judges give the winner 10 points and the loser 9 or less. Usually, it's a 9, unless the guy gets his ass beat so bad that the judge has to give the loser 8. But usually it's 9. Since it was close Rampage got 10 points and Lyoto got 9.

Split decision? that was robbery. It was a clear 29-28 for Rampage

  • @StrayedWolf MACHIDA LOST. where the hell do these dumb fans come from that know shit about mma? Rampage landed 60 shots 2 Machida 38 so Rampage won in aggression as well as damage inflicted(stats provided by compustrike). Machida may of stolen the 3rd with his flurry and takedown, but he did nothing from the top cept go 4 a sub that Rampage is known for slamming out of. Rampage clearly won in the eyes of an educated fighter or fight fan.

  • @MrGriffen666 Wich you are clearly not, but definatly a partial one...

  • @MrGriffen666 compustrike is the worst stats webstite there is, but i know what your saying. now that i looked back at it; rampage won the first 2 rounds and machida won the third. rampage won, but both of them would get there ass kicked by shogun if they fight they way they did that night.

  • @MrGriffen666 what the? how? judges dont count those little knees and stomps in the clinch, that only goes toward aggression. a full on punch the fighter or kick, knee, eldow counts toward a strike. rampage landed less then 16 full on shots (one im not to sure if he landed) i watched the fight so many times. hands down Machida won the fight i will argue this anyday

  • @MrGriffen666 That's funny because from what I heard, Machida outlanded Jackson in significant strikes 33-16. Don't really know what you were counting because no way Rampage landed 60 strikes unless you are counting the baby strikes in the clinch. I mean Machida could of did that also but it wouldn't of done much. Point is, Rampage's aggression doesn't mean squat if his attacks are being nullified all match and you are getting beat at the end.

  • @tman229 Well u got ur stats from FightMetric a Zuffa company i prefer Compustrike but both site have Rampage outlanding Machida in Total Strikes.. Even if Rampages strikes dont do damage they scoring points and he was coming forward most of the fight cutting Machidas dancing off. It was Machidas job to realize that his dancing n countering wasn't working n to change things up, but he ended up doing 2 little 2 late...

  • @MrGriffen666 Btw if you consider yourself (or anyone that thinks like you) a "educated fighter" then I have to advice you to catch up in your studies because you are obviously far from that.

  • Rampage is one funny and honest guy! its hard not to like rampage.

  • hey MMA fans, pay attention to this
