before establishing a relationship wiv God, Establish one within yourself, You will see God when you have seen yourself.

You cant want one without wanting the other. If you want to experience God, you need to experience the real you. You need to want yourself. Love yourself uncondional and you WILL experience unconditional love. For everything is experienced within you including God.

To HughHue, one would have to ask, where on earth did you get that Jesus said "know ye not that ye are gods?" That is not in MY bible. And who is Kuthumi?? You are obviously not a Christian -- what foreign religion do you ascribe to. I am a Catholic Christian and will go by the Bible, not your strange ways... St. Francis said it the way he said it because he MEANT it that way. Let's not change it, as if St. Francis was Jesus. Very scary...

So it is appropriate to invoke the I AM.

Christ Jesus said, "Know ye not that ye are gods?" ~ where would you find humility in that?

You are absolutely right about how many have been conditioned, like this young person who has so shown the effect of that conditioning. I have read the book "The Moses Code, and I agree that God would not hold back such wonderful knowledge from them that Love Him... It is true your last statement.

There is no arrogance is being confidence in the power God gives us to be witnesses in this God-forsaken world. I am His Disciples, and I am His witness of His word. The statement "I am" is a powerful tool to call upon the almighty to fill us with His truth and His power. The word "Arrogant is a worldly perspective, gain the perspective tha is of God and be encouraging to your brother and sister who do battle with evil everyday. God Bless you all.

I have my questions about this version. Though it's powerful, it also sounds rather arrogant. Humility is a very important element of prayer.

Yes, forsakening the ego is to recognizing what is causing our limitation to know the true power the lies withing us all...When we do we become very humble at the fact that this great power is all emcumbusing...and will denys us nothing...we have only to ask.

People must realize that they are part of God, and it is Gods will to become more through our spiritual evolution (The spirit expands in light when you evolve)
