The part where you jump superhigh with the snake. How do you do that?

Press and hold the A button on the Snes controller (I'm playing on an Emulator on my laptop thought, so its different for me on my laptop keyboard.

yeah ive always hated the toxic level....(i always fell through the little slits)also its cool on how well you play on an emulator,it is right?)
