Can't decide between getting Damage or Komplete 8 to go with Maschine, I really want unique and versitile drum sounds and effects, I think Damage would be dope with Maschinem which I have.
@JAWDEATHSTAR really two different products, DAMAGE is dedicated to drums and percussion, impacts, etc. Komplete is a whole collection of all types of instruments.
@SoundsAndGear Ya Joe I know, I was only trying to decide which to purchase first as Damage isn't included in the Komplete arsenal yet.I ended up getting Damage first for some percussive inspiration and unique sounds. I will most likely get Komplete later as I have elements now to hold me over. Whats your opinion on Battery by the way? Merry Xmas
@JAWDEATHSTAR yeah if you have other stuff then you made the right decision as their is NOTHING like Damage out there imo. Battery is cool, great sampler, sound library is OK I don't use it much though. Merry Christmas to you to fam! Let me know what you think of Damage when you get it!
one last question: are the drums only loops or can you play them as well as seperate drum sounds (like: by pressing c3 just 1 kick(not loop), pressing d3 snare...)
@MenneBeats I don't know which one has more I'd have to check again, I like them both together but if I had to pick i'd go with 2, the second version of instruments always seems to improve on the first, not just here but in general.
Yo Joe, What's the difference between these two and buying the actual software Evolve? I'm asking because i see that you have it in your Kontakt 4 library.
@eqakablanco Evolve is the original larger library, mutations are smaller libraries that came out after the first large one. Mutations 2 has some stuff (trigger fx) that isn't in either of the other ones. I like them all lol.

@soundasylum1 exactly, it's definitely aimed at film scoring, games, media, etc but for me I like it for all that plus music in general, different sounds, dopeness.
I see you have Alicia Keys library(Bottom left corner) how were they? Is it any good? or is it just hype? Alicia Keys is pretty looking, so Native Instruments might pull a fast one on me
@pppeeeppee lol, they are actually good, a nice break from the normal "classical piano" sounds we usually get. A lil more mellow to my ears, fun to play.
