  • i like it

  • I had a Ford Fiesta S (south east asian model) and it eats Honda and Toyotas for breakfast

  • @leoncarbon In what ways, speed ,comfort, fuel mileage, etc?I was thinking about buying one,I like the Focus too.I always have liked Fords, had a 1991 Tempo that was bad but it was used so it could have been abused before I bought it.

  • @CrashMarket in terms of comfort , the suspension is a Ford tuned suspension , so its meant to feel sporty but its kinda rough and you can actually feel the smooth road is a little bit bumpy , the fuel mileage is 5.9litres per 100km and thats alot of fuel savings and the safety is 5star european rating , plus the chassis is made entirely out of boron steel , and it only weighs 1100kg and plus its pretty fast too , its 120 horsepowered @ 6000 rpm and the torque is 152nm at 4050rpm

  • Ford is the shit!! Their whole line up is great!

  • where's zyzz??

  • why are all of our european cars, that go to america, converted into ugly looking vehicles?

i own a 2009 fiesta sport and it looks sooo much better than this.

i just dont get it why the american market forces car companies to make ugly cars.

  • why do all of our (European) car's go to America and they almost always don't have a diesel option? they are so much more economical when it comes to MPG

  • god i think thats such a piece of shit, not made for america keep it in europe

  • my local ford dealer has a lime hatch displayed, and my mom drove by it the other day and thought it was really cool. but she would never get it because she needs the 4wd of her escape

  • out in the wild? what a fucking dork. just admit looks better and functions 100 better than the prius

  • 2011 sonata kills this !

  • Wow 29cit/38hwy that is definatly a smart car contender, yet it you can put a family of 5. Uncomfortably but manageable lol.

  • they should re name it.

  • @Theparksideshow lol i tell my friends i want to get this car and they think im talking about the old ones so i have to show them the new one

  • This guy acted like it pained him to admit this new Ford is a really sweet car! It floors me how cars from U.S. companies are overly scrutinized by weenies like this car....I mean, c'mon...he made a big deal about the texture of the dash!!!! Just wait...this car will be a flat-out winner for Ford....40 MPG even with an automatic is exactly what ppl are looking for in this class. Oh....and the great ride and sporty handling will have this car SOLD by time the customer is finished the test-drive.

  • Thank you !!

  • lol no waaay . ..bringin' back the fiesta? why the fuck would they call it the fiesta?

  • @ActionBastard85 - I think you're referring to the Ford Festiva, this is the Fiesta which is a nameplate Ford has used in Europe for years.

  • @PriestsandParamedics hmm . . .maybe? it's still a cheap sounding name, like the nissan murano, just sounds bad.

  • XD that comment lol lol

  • Lmfao fuckin random comment right here XD

  • Fiesta is a great car, has been a great car over the past 30 years.

  • get the sedan to europe!!!

  • It's a great car over here in the UK, trust me you guys in the States will love it.

  • why do people even like this car??????

wat is so good about this crap?

    looks normal, low performance

why the hell do people even want this?

  • Why people like it? Because it's one of the best looking Fords in a long time and the first european Ford which will (almost) unmodified hit the American market. And the performance of this small thing is quite a lot better than that of all the big (ugly) pick up trucks, because it weights about the half of them ... or less. Anyways, why do you in North America even care about performance, as you have strict speed limits everywhere?

  • this small car weights 1560kg! my ford ranger weights about 1600kg...

i knew it i work in the plant where the fiesta were build.(cologne)

  • I'm sorry to correct you, but the Fiesta weights about 10361119 kg (which is something around 2500lb)

  • Are you for serious?

  • Ooops, I mean 1036 - 1119 kg, not 10361119 lol

  • i knew whats written in wikipedia ;-)

sorry but on the doortag there is a weight of 1560 and fully loaded something around 2000kg.

  • because were Americans! cars are disposable, and when see a new one we have to have it!

  • LOL your comment had me laughing.

  • strict speed limits does not mean, strict drivers.

I do agree with u about the pickup truck, they are ugly and heavy.

Does it matter how much Fiesta wieghts? you still will feel the lack of performance when you drive no matter 1560 or 2000

  • i mean 1000 or 2000

  • @ratmtbola Just because we have strict speed limits doesn't mean we always follow them. You drive your tight little streets and we enjoy thousands of miles of open road.

  • You've apparenly never been here if you think we have "tight little streets" ;)

  • @ratmtbola why do you care what we care. By the way I really like full size trucks and suv's and i live in USA. there is nothing wrong with that. Also performance does matter!

  • @Hummers222 Well, then you're dumbass just like all the other people who drive full size dtrucks or SUVs, because they are really useless unless you're a streetworker or something or have a real huge family ...

  • @ratmtbola they are not useless! i live in washington state (near the ocean) lots of people have boats so they need an suv or truck. Also when driving an SUV or Truck it makes you feel better, when you sit up so high. :)

  • @Hummers222 Well, I kinda agree with you on the boat thing. Atleast for bigger boats, you might need an SUV or truck to tow.

But I personally don't feel better when I sit up so high ;) I rather spend my money on something smaller, faster and with better handling like a BMW or something. THAT makes be feel better :)

  • @ratmtbola well, i guess we just have different tastes in cars :) i tend to like bigger cars, and you the opposite. theres nothing wrong with that. I understand what you mean because lots of people where i live have the big suv's and trucks when they are not needed. i guess, it is just what we like :)

  • @ratmtbola

Lol in America Speeding is looked down upon, but we don't have speed cameras everywhere like in Britain. So here people tend to speed wherever they can. So i feel in America everyone tries to keep up with the fastest person near by. which is why we love our horse power! We Americans love performance, for example look at the new mustang v6 305hp 31MPG highway Woah!! lol 31mpg for a muscle car.I do love the new ford fiesta, and i will hopefully be buying one this summer, it is perfect

  • This guy needs to stop saying "uhh" every other word. He sounds too unsure of himself when he's reviewing the interior.

  • nice car, stupid name!

  • These sub-compact cars are not really good for families due to their lack of rear seat comfort and limited cargo area. But I think Ford should bring the European Focus to North America for people that want more room than the Fiesta but want to stay loyal to the Ford Family.

  • lol timothydelaghetto was driving this shit.

  • Awesome! I think I may get this car within the next few years (I'm 17). Still trying to get used to the grille's on both the hatchback and the sedan when compared to the European version. Overall though, great car.

  • We dont care about the sedan, show us the hatch!!!

  • you dont care. speak for yourself

  • they lost

  • The last Fiesta that was sold in North America was the Mk1!

  • Why show the sedan for most of this review ? Its hideous. Hopefully ford will discontinue it soon.

  • In case you don't already know: Versa and Yaris both sold more in sedan than hatchback.

  • Yep. I do know that. And they both look inferior and are less versatile as their hatchback originatorsl. It was designed as a Hatch, didn't need to be turned into a sedan.

  • Car business is business. Car companies will have to make money regardless the need to sacrifice common sense(SUV), technologies(Crown Victoria/ Continental), and styling(hatch --> Sedan) to meet tasteless and crude consumer demands. Not everyone can build, buy, want, or use a Ferrari, you know.

  • i agree

  • Ford Fiesta is so cool...just two things that drive me nuts....rear drum brakes and "gooseneck" trunk hinges for the sedan...otherwise this car is AWESOME! DSG in a subcompact!!

  • it good

  • not bad
