@mellisa212 Cold outside that day but it was nice and warm in the aircraft with the heat on...we had to stay under 2500ft because it was very hazy and clouds were only about 3200ft.
@youngestpilotinGa Thats great and congratulations...she is actually 14 now too and flies with me all the time!! In the helicopter too since Im dual rated. Fly safe and good luck in all you do young man!
Oh yeh, there is nothing else she would rather do now! that comes from the horses mouth, she's sitting next to me right now...lol! She was a hit at school the very next day too! Im gonna turn her into a rotor head eventually...lol!
Its incredible kids my age are flying planes today. I havent been on a plane yet, but hope so someday.

its realy cool that it no-longer a big deal for 12 yearolds to fly (take it from a 14 yearold whos been flying seince age 9 )

That's wonderful! We have a Cessna 172 also..our kids are 5 and 6 yo so we haven't let them try this though!

So did she get bitten by the flying bug? In the old days, she could be at the solo stage in a few weeks, but now she'll have to wait a few years.
