No matter what I do, my flare isn't effective. I usually flare too soon and fall short of the pad. When I wait a little later to flare, I overshoot the pad. I've practiced a lot and I will continue to do so, but does anybody have some tips as to how to flare in a more effective manner (how far over the pad do you begin the flare?)

This model is OUTSTANDING!!!!!! I only have XPLANE for my mac though and no tracker IR so I can't get anywhere NEAR the precision that comes with that combo.

What the heck! I fly X-Plane 9.43 and I only usually fly the LOWI scenery just like this one. BUT my scenery doesn't look anything like this one. Yours is awesome!  How did you get it to be so detailed and realistic looking? PLEASE Advise!!!

The landing looks so realistic! Can u tell me if a good joystick makes a difference, as my $30 one seems to make helicopter control very difficult.

I use a CH Fighterstick. Nothing fancy, but ofcourse, helicopters are easier to fly with decent hardware.
