It's unfortunate but I just heard that Dennis Hopper is terminally ill with prostate cancer. An article I read this morning said that he will likely never leave the hospital. I was sad to hear this, he is a talented actor, and will be missed. Does anyone know if these reports are 100% accurate?
While I'm sure our president has a sense of compassion for the everyman, his manner of change by increasing government regulation in the most critical factors in our lives will most certainly be compromised by our scourge of lobbyists. Our constitution was supposed to limit the scope of government regulation to protect our liberties, or have we forgotten?
I noticed how silent Bitsy was when he mentioned how Palin sent him to the other side...cause Bitsy obviously kissed Palin's ass the entire time.
Hopper wasn't a neocon or anything-he strikes me as a Republican from the days of Eisenhower and Goldwater. But if he votes for a Democrat, that must mean a GOP candidate was dreadful, as Palin was and still is
well ...its alaska....I mean...its basically a state we have just as a big FU to the soviets.. otherwise we probably just have it to hide important bodies for the mafia.
Not as funny as you might think. I'm an Independent who wasn't so much enamored with Obama (although he's a hell of a speaker), as I was terrified of Palin. So, Dennis... I feel your pain, man.
I totally agree, I finally have a reason to respect Americans, well half of you who voted. Understand that the world is watching you guys so make smarter decisions before its too late
"half of you"? i voted Obama but thats a really cynical look at people, everyone is entitled to their opinion and vote and those who voted for McCain are no less good americans than the ones who voted Obama.
Be very very proud America. The whole world can see this man's potential thank God you can too. 55+ million still voting for McCain is still a little alarming though.
Dennis I love you forever

I guess that I would be one of those Americans that you wouldn't respect. Sorry for my opinions.

broomy, I was quite positive Obama was going to win but, nevertheless, it was closer than I thought it would be.
