This is the most recast fucking commercial iv seen lately, Who is to say the white man is better then the rest of us (coloured people). And why is the white man modernly more advanced. This is So beyond the point.
To me this whole thing just sounds wrong. If they were a company that really cared they would just make a large donation to a charity. If they wanted the reputation they would ANNOUNCE they were making a large donation to make people feel more inclined to buy from a "caring company." Their whole strategy of "buy from us or we'll let people die" is just completely the wrong approach. It's almost like trying to force people to buy from them to make sure these people get vaccinations.
My children both suffered problems from vaccines, please ask to see the "package insert" that comes with all vaccines (not the glossy leaflets provided by health authority - read the "list of ingredients" and "side effects" make an informed choice. Vaccines are NOT risk free. How do you know for sure your infant will tolerate the toxins that are inside the shots? Educate yourself make an informed choice. This advert is propoganda for drugs companies. Think for yourselves.
I'm shocked at the ignorance demonstrated by a good lot of you. Please provide sources those of you making (stupid) claims that vaccines cause autism and are supposedly killing babies.
More vaccine propaganda from Big Pharma. Keep shooting up those babies.
Ever wondered why there's such a huge increase in autism, allergies, ADD, etc... Well there ya go... Babies are now getting injected with 8-10 times more vaccines than I got when I was a baby!
Do some research about the links between vaccines and autism.
Propaganda ! See how these vaccines are making a healthy baby dead in the womb for many woman. No Vaccine no ID card for pregnant ladys. SICK SICK SICK ! The first five minutes is taken from an old Alex Jones interview on the UN sterilizing . Then they talk to the wemon that say babys stoped moved right after vaccien. Type in Vaccination Sterilization on Utube.
this commercial isn't offensive, its realistic...obviously some babies in asia, afria, and south america are a lot worse off than babies in north american and europe
I LOVE this commercial. I always tear up whenever I see it. The American mother being (emotionally) drawn to all the various babies; including the toddlers who toddle right up to her -- regardless of race or nationality. Poignant and touching. This is a beautiful commercial.

Thank you for posting this commercial! I love this commercial and always stopped to watch it now, but now it doesn't seem to be airing anymore. Such a great one. Love that it shows no matter what color of skin you have or religion you practice, motherhood is something that is universal.
Get a life. Would you rather we let unfortunate babies rot? Maybe we should not do anything to help the poor people in drought ridden countries in Africa because of their colour? If you have that many issues and find this sort of thing so offensive, perhaps you should go back to wherever you're from, or switch the channel when this is on tv and let people HELP other people less fortunate.
Instead of buying overpriced diapers, why don't you buy the nonbrand type and donate the difference directly to the cause. Or better yet give the full amount to charity. That'll do a whole lot more than buying into marketing scheme. But you're obviously a tool and think that if we didn't make racially offensive commercials about vaccines that the world will fall apart. There's other, more appropriate ways, to get things done.
Buying the diapers is a lot easier than just donating to charities. Plus, once you donate to one charity, other charities know about it and they want you to donate to every single one. And besides, why would you wanna buy cheaper diapers if they're worse than pampers? The company is using a marketing tool, but it's for a good cause.
@Crackrzz It's alright to cry, it's just a marketing strategy for Procter & Gamble to gain more money and secure the loyalty of its buyers. It is a bad commercial full of racial stereotyping of the white woman delivering her manifest destiny of saving every mother and child in poverty. I do encourage you to donate but please do not fall for this pampers commercial. P&G is making a load of money through Pampers while only donating pennies for vaccines...
That makes my heart feal so warm and I want' to cry,And that song gives me shivers.WHATS THE SONG! ITS GOOD!PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT SONG IT IS!PLEASE!
I simply love this commercial....When I see it, I cry because of the innocence the babies represent and it reminds me of the one I lost. Those of you who are arguing need to get over yourselvs.
I think that hdharshi is retarded. Who the hell are you to point shit out like this. Why cant you just fucking look at the commercial and everyone in it as people and not as colors that is racism if anything. Its people like you that keep that so called stage around. So next time you see people as black and white or color at all, dont preach to people about how they are rude and look at you!
I think this ad creates the wrong image. Sure it shows cute babies and a good song but it's showing that the colored world depends on the white person?! There are white people living in poverty and disease and not one white baby is shown in this ad aside from the privileged one. Shame on you pampers and UNICEF! I thought the world was past this stage but I guess the 2 of you need a dose of reality and anti-oppression!
The truth is, a lot of America IS privileged. UNICEF is Internatonal. United Nations! Pampers is an international company. Therefore it makes perfect sense to include all the different nationalities in the commercial. There are poor people in every country; here UNICEF is doing its job: helping all nations. How do you know some of the funds don't go to Mississippi or Appalachia?
The "colored world" as you say, doesn't depend on the "white world," but a lot of people in the "white world" have enough money to buy expensive diapers, so why not help out the less fortunate?
obviously you are the one thats not past the stage of color bbecause regardless of what color the baby in this commercial you should see children period.point blank. in need.
The person that said that the commercial was stereotyping because of the clothing that the people are wearing wasn't get the full idea behind the commercial. You need to think deeper into it. These babies signify children actually living in those countries... giving this woman their thanks for the part she's playing in helping kids all over the world. We aren't supposed to think that all these people from other countries are ACTUALLY walking around this woman as she's trying to shop.
Does anyone know who this actress is, the one that all of the babies run up to/reach out to/etc? I thought I saw her in another commercial (one for depression) and just wanted to see if it was the same woman.
Some of us are living on a pretty tight budget right now, and diapers are about the only thing we can afford. I personally would like to be able to donate more, but knowing that any amount of my money, however tiny, is going to help those who need it makes me feel good. Even if the company's reasons may be selfish (e.g. tax write-off,) let's remember the people who are receiving something that they need.
I'd rather donate directly to UNICEF so all of my $20 can go to vaccinations, not just $0.05 of it... and have it only be for tetanus vaccinations to pregnant women. Like, that's good and all, but there are a whole heck of a lot more people who could use vaccinations (such as children who aren't still in the womb), and a whole heck of a lot of other vaccinations that would be really great to give... like for more serious/contagious diseases. $20 direct can buy 400 vaccinations instead of 1.
omg...............who is this man......you took the words right outta my mouth........i was getting kinda bored with miss chula/////go read a book....xxx
This is not a forum for single-minded zealots ChulaKirby. This is a TV commercial for diapers wherein some of the proceeds will go to paying for vaccines. It just so happens that some people also like the song that accompanies it. That is all.
Now, go stand in front of the nearest mirror, and say 'Jesus was black!' 'Jesus was black!'
then drive to the nearest 'scary' neighborhoodand hand over all your worldly possessions. You should then drive home and take a vow of silence.
You are forgetting one other person. The child. They have feelings to you know. And just because they are one day or minutes away from being born doesn't make them any less of a person. They are alive and are living. So think about the whales but save the children!
I saw this commercial tonight on TV and thought it was really touching until I saw "UNICEF". This is a United Nation's program that contributes to the population program of the United Nations which exports abortion and the killing of babies in their mothers wombs around the world. I just had to speak out tonight because it makes me sick to think about how they hide behind a mask of caring.
Abortions are between the mother and god NOT between you and the mother. I hope u NEVER face a situation where u need to contemplate an abortion but for those who are in such situations. They could never articulate how difficult it is. No one can understand unless they r already in the situation. Its a decision that we cannot make for them. Being against abortion for yourself is fine, but have respect for those who choose otherwise for themselves.
Well then the classic issue arises, when is it considered a living person? at the zygote? after 3 months of pregnancy? Obviously, partial birth abortions are horrible and other late term abortions should never happen. However, early term abortions are legal in the United States for many reasons. It is wise to have your own opinion on abortion but don't impose your beliefs on others please.
Listen to what you are saying...Really listen....We do not differ on whether the organism is alive but what type it is. Is it a cat, horse, elephant, tree....of course not...It is a human being! No different than a human being we classify as a child, teenager, young adult, senior citizen. What happens when looks detemine a person's humanity and their right to life. One country went down that slippery slope and it resulted in genocide. It started with abortion and then infanticide.
And don't those who have the opinion that partial birth abortion is okay, impose their opinion on others? Namely the child.........Peter Singer is a Princeton University Professor who teaches his young American students and future leaders that even a born baby is not yet a person because they are not self conscious of who they are and it is okay (infanticide) ....because they are not human persons. It doesn't take a genius to know what a living human being is. Ask any pregnant mother.
Personal issues? Imposing beliefs? We impose beliefs everytime someone is arrested or fined for breaking a law. You may not think it is wrong but other's do and vise versa. What happen's when society starts thinking that maybe it is not wrong to kill you. What if they start justifying it and then they start imposing their beliefs on you and your life. It's a slippery slope and has led to genocide in the past.
see b4 u had an actual discussion going, but here u show u dont know what your talking about or what the issue is! you said "We do not differ on whether the organism is alive but what type it is". The issue is when is it considered alive! not what type! when it is 4 cells after fertilization is it a person? In addition, UNICEF is a humanitarian grp using pampers to help continue their vaccine program, i dont understand how someone can come to the video post and ask for ppl not to support vaccines
Would someone who is white care about the unborn children of those in third world countries who are not white? Would someone who is white care about the children of non-whites or those whom Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood) saw as the undesireables? And I am not Republican. I am Pro-Life. As far as being brainwahed, I was until one day I thought for myself. I realized the living organism could be nothing but human. Humans beget humans. That doesn't need to be taught.

Junglee... the same way scientist and others define life...
1. Is the organism growing?
2. Is it taking in nutrients?
3. Is it giving off waste?
4. Is it capable of reproducing when fully mature?
This is literally second grade science stuff (I have children science books to prove this)and is used to find and define life.
Jungle, humans reproduce humans. This is first grader stuff.
And by the way I never asked anyone not to support vaccines.
