  • man at first you had such a sick fucking soundscape going. that guitar solo shit totally ruined it though. i wish i knew somebody who played guitar the way you do though. i just kept hearing the perfect crunchy drum machine rhythm to go with that. lay down some synth some whispered vocals about random sad shit. we got a band!

  • all this u get it with the loopers i like the sample give u a a++++

  • at 2:58 till end is the best part..check it out

  • It was cool up until about 2 minutes.

I have those same Nike's btw, very comfortable.

  • does anyody know if this is a song? if it is, please lemme know, if not, VERY original and soufull. this is spectacular :) amazing

  • @Freed89fab4 I think its an original song, but there is a song that sounds like it, try Maggot Dream by Death Cube K

  • you could sell half pedalboard and take soloing lession...

  • @Psycorock92 you could shut the fuck up and learn how to spell

  • @ihaveaverybadcold you dont think that's ridicoulous to see a guitarist on stage with an infinite pedalboard and that starting soloing goes out of tune on every bending? im not here to do the teacher, but at 2.13 I heard "nails on the blackboard". Don't you think is more important to play better that jump on one thousand stompboxes? and maybe he can have the SAME SOUNDS eliminating HALF pedalboard! there are 3 DELAY PEDALS, a total of 8 different delays! maybe too many?

  • @Psycorock92 if you dont under stand then you dont understand.....everyone can be better at what they do....even you..

  • @ihaveaverybadcold the key to improve ourselves is to accept critics and tring to treasure that..

  • so many pedals O_O

  • reminded me a bit of omar rodriguez. and I know this is an awesome praise! it would be really similar if you had used more complex intervals. just gotta work on this overdrive sound.

  • sounds like Buckethead, i love this

  • freakin milking the sky!

    nice work.

  • something in there. kinda sounds like a step phaser.

  • Wow, just found this deep down in my favorites today, yet again. I do love your video, but I have to agree with @schecterfanboy that the loop is at it's best before 2:10. Your bends and lead melody can use a little bit more work (judging by this video which is like 5 years, so you probably have improved). But granted, I do think it's an amazing loop. Loved it from the very beginning!

  • You need a slideing chair bro

  • If i told someone i had that many pedals, theyd think i was building the world's largest bike. nice playing man

  • I really would like to hear this with smooth backing bass and light percussion

  • yr guitar playing sucks.

  • @ic3cr34mp4intj0b Your spelling sucks.

  • nice music

  • got money huh

  • Ruined it when you started soloing over the top

  • Really enjoyed the music. Thanks for posting your work.

  • what setting are you using on the purple line 6 ?

  • How many 9v batteries do you kill every week?

  • @kvsuprise power supply

  • Comment removed

  • @jackthebassist13 Theres something called a joke

  • @kvsuprise HAHAHAHAH UR SO FUNNY.......

  • @kvsuprise haha. thank the good lord for daisy chains :)

  • nice pedal board

  • Sounds like buckethead in the beggining. Amazing

  • this is great.

  • At which part do you use fm4?

  • @wer888wer

the FM4 is the purple pedal. it is going right from the start.

  • how much you had spend in this pedalboard?

  • what is the brand of the green delay pedal?

  • @AceDanielSpace It's boss

  • @AceDanielSpace Line 6 DL4

  • @AceDanielSpace

    Line 6 DL4

  • good work young fella!!!

  • I'll lost myself among so many pedals...

  • Are those really all boss/mxr pedals? Tone drainage may drastically occur

  • even if i could, i would never want that many pedals, just way to many to worry and focuss onn

  • @TheZHBolinger Yep. You can do it with your delay pedal too. You just have to put the overdrive before the delay/ looper. Play the clean rhythm part first, and then hit the overdrive, and solo away. The delay pedal and the looper with operate in exactly the same way in this respect.

  • Beautiful man, So Question: I traded an amp I never use anymore for a couple new pedals. I got a Boss DD-7 Digital Delay and a Boss RC-3. I haven't gotten to the RC-3 yet. I'm still playing with the delay pedal. Question is... my delay pedal offers 40 seconds of looping...BUT...I can only use one tone. I can play with my volume and change the sound a little bit, but looping a clean rhythm and an overdrive lead isn't possible. Will I be able to do this my RC-3 ??

  • Electric Tears.

  • Amazing work. Loved it.

  • i think you have way too many pedals

  • can i have one of those pedals please caus you have so many?

  • Cool man, a little off on the bends but I think you´re on the right track, or at least the track I like, good job my friend

  • @schecterfanboy Agreed. I was digging it until the drive lead part. But overall, a little inspiring. I'm trying to touch up my knowledge on using the Line6 DL4 the way I want. Would like to see more loops and style-sharing from you.

  • Sounds like Buckethead's Electric Tears.

  • lol somebody has a lot of money to spend on pedals :)

  • very good, psyco styles

    from brazil ol

  • this song really reminds me of Maggot Dream by Death Cube K

  • this is damn good man, i can tell some of your inspiration is from buckethead?

  • your improvisation is pretty shitty

  • beautiful!

  • nice shoes11

  • holy crap that's a lot of pedals

  • I got to agree with some of the comments I don't think u need all those pedls , either way nice

  • que padre tienes muchos efectos eso esta muy chido me gusta el riff del principio esta muy bueno

  • Nice soundscape, but seriously... if you hook up all that stuff only to be able to write music, it seems a bit that you can't do without them. You can write this without any pedal (so, in your head, that's where the origin is) ... no offense, but free your mind man! :)

  • sell 2 pedals and buy a decent camera

  • Resident evil save room??

  • @Blackjon88 hahahaha yeah

  • so then what do you use live?

  • You had a nice loop going until 2:10. Work on those bends!

  • this is the pedal of chuck norris!

  • @elema666 Chuck Norris dont need pedals... his guitar sound exactly how he want it to wenever he want it to

  • awesome nikes !

  • sound like BUCKEDHEAD!!

    Keep play.

  • Nice pedal man

  • yay my ears, this feels emotional and beautiful, thanks

  • gotta love ambient trip-out loop riffs

  • sounds like something out of donkey kong country :)

  • lot a pedals...are you a professional guitar player?

  • The solo kind of sounds like something from a Pink Floyd song.. Amazing work

  • do you write music for silent hill?!?!

  • vox rulz!!!better them marshall or any other crap

  • This reminds of something off of Buckethead's Colma.

  • amazing sound mate, everything made one lovely piece of music, as opposed to the standard guitar vids on utube where its some guy 'shredding' over some other shit. Well done... Uve inspired me to be much more creative with my looper.

  • That was really cool loved the loop but it's a bit of a shame it ended so abruptly though.

  • Everything was fine until you started playing solo. Introduction of solo was horrible.

  • @yokotoka agreed

  • Dude try the Fullton Fulldrive 2 its amazing. (get the 18v adaptor for it though).

  • you should record this dude! Audacity would be simple enough for this if you don't have something else already. It's free and since you already have all your effects there you don't have to worry about plugins

  • Solo was pretty good but the tone was TOOO bright. Sounds awesome anyway

  • pedals much!

  • for majority digital effects sounds pretty good =]

  • @Morethanl1f3 No, I disagree . I am discovering that digital pedals actually change the sound of the actual notes and its harmonic spectrum. Analog pedals are noisier but sound more human and more musical.

  • tranquilo, i like it. i did lately a mystic animation with relaxing ambient music and also relaxing motion pictures like a solar eclipse to a sunset above the sea. i would apreciate if you watch this on my channel

    best wishes

  • this sounds sad and gloomy, like you have no purpose in life. like your only purpose is to get severly underpaid in a sweatshop to slave away on a pair of shoes that some spoiled yuppy can use to stomp on expensive machinery

  • @retrocareermelted yea totally if you wanna be negative about it

  • I thought the solo sounded pretty good. A bit loud but what the hell. Good stuf bro. I have an RC-2 Looper and am looking into getting more pedals. Which are you favorite pedals? and thanx for posting.

  • cool

  • "this whole pedalboard was put together for writing purposes. Its not a rig i take everywhere i go."

Yeah... but what happens when you write a song that you're gonna perform? Given that if you write more than one song using different pedals, you've gotta have a full set list, so you MAY be taking this with you, if you suddenly become famous.

  • @DAKMAIN .... if you become famous you empoly a sound engineer to operate all the effects etc. ... Link Pink Floyd for example.

  • can someone help me out please (:

what pedals can I get just to do some looping and ambient sounds?

    thank you

  • Nice shoes.

  • buckethead!!

  • vox cc or heritage

  • Not really ambient.

  • @shredofmartyrs Define Ambient, last time I checked it was quite a broad genre

  • you got pedals

  • How did you get that sound in the beginning? Can you recall what pedals were involved, and I am not talking about delay, sound like a filter or EQ of some sort.

  • Run your delay before your distortion, at least one of them. You'll get each one of your delays with a bit of low end distortion and it sounds excellent. Or click onto the top boost function of the AC30 you have, run the volume a high with the master low, and get some of that good old fashion high gain, tube amp crunch! Much better that that grading distortion you have on there... Not a problem with your playing, just the pedal.

  • hey man what pedals did you use just for this video, specifically?

  • If you had turned the level down a little bit more on the overdrive, the solo would have sounded a lot better.

    Good shit man!

  • you don`t play in a band or???

  • Man You guys are wrong, I Think it sounds pretty cool except for the last few seconds when it sounds like he hit a few wrong notes, I love the distortion!!

  • yep it was killed at 2.15 , it wasnt so much the solo it was the sound of it , maybe done clean with delay on slightly lower volume would of been great , but overall a really nice video and awesome set up !! no offence but anyone with a little guitar knowledge some effects and a loop pedal can do this themselves , ofcourse a guitar and amp will help to lol. For anyone just starting out please go get a loop pedal b4 you upgrade ur guitar or amp . Trust me!!! so much fun

  • i want that shoes

  • OH FUCK YOU!!!!! (with no offense)

  • first of all i am so jealous of you hahahaha

  • distorted solo sounds right on with the mix, maybe we got too many van hair band 80s rockers in the house, its pretty good just like every loop pedal jam though it starts to get out of control and sounds start sounding "out of sync", all in all good show

  • Better quality camera would = better quality sound. Sorry.

  • do you have by any chance a backing track?

  • i wrote a DECENT solo to this. i'll post it up

  • we need to jam soon. you play exactly like i do.

  • It's real nice, but you could do this with one pedal. Definitely don't need 86 pedals for this. It's a freaking sweet board though.

  • someones mommy bought them too many pedals

  • sounds good is this a buckethead song

  • thats worth at least 3 thousand$

  • Your Distortion.. Fail.. you must buy a overdrive or something like that.. all the rest are good

  • sounds a little like dunkey kong ambience musice from the water level, very similar at the beginning. Perhaps it was inspired by it?

  • how much does it cost in wires alone to link all these. are they little short jacks

  • The equilavent of a plasma screen tv usage in power. This is an epic pradal board

  • really niice man. Loops can get cheesy in a hurry but u do well here.

  • beautiful my friend. i think the distortion works well.

  • i like the distortion reminds me of early buckethead and late pink floyd

  • Sounds like something you'd hear from Buckethead

  • @earsBLEEDmetal1 Go play some Minor 9 chord inversions. Its instant buckethead :P

  • Holy fuck that's a lot of pedals

  • Dude! sounds sick! What pedal did you use during the first run?

  • Very cool sound on the video. Yes it has that nice Buckethead feel. I want 'one a them' toys for Christmas. :) Thanks for listing the pedals. You rock SweetAmerige.

  • Too trite beginning and the end at solo. But middle it so good.

  • lol "Rockband drumset":P

Anyway, I generally disagree w/ the top-liked comments here; I think the solo, overall, is good. The tone issues I'm blaming on the camera mic. And yeah, your bends need to make sure to stay in tune, but your note choices are great, and I think your style all really holds itself together well. Nice video:)

  • yes buckethead style :D

  • its a buckethead style?

  • Ambient sounds really nice man - solo needs a little work - cool collection of pedals - I guess you are not married yet - beware!

  • Really nice work. Thanks for sharing.

What all pedals are involved in the loop sequence, that is being looped?

Are using every one of the pedals, listed in your description, or only certain ones?

  • heyyy!!! i could stay at home all day if i had all of those toys! great man!

  • What effect do you have going on with the Line 6 Mod?

  • I love to see alot of toys at the same time, cool!

  • Two things need to change, recording mic. It would sound significantly MORE amazing if you had a sm57 there.

Two, don't use boss effects for serious tone. The overdrive is... well.. sad.

Just get a TS808 or 9, and your drive will be set for life. Unless you wanna go all out for a Rock Box Boiling Point.

  • intro sounds magical

  • damm... SOMEONE needs a multieffects processor :D

  • awesome until about two minutes...but the first was awesome

  • HOW U BUy SO MANY PEDALS???

  • Beautiful sound

  • Excellent bro' !

    I like your song !

    Congratulations!

  • Electric Tears

  • @b8832142 thats what the beginning reminded me of.

  • hey The edge not too bad!

  • oooohhh fuck.....this is....awesome...really like this sound...

  • Just buy a roland keyboard.

  • Good old creamy Vox AC30...Couldn't live without mine.

  • excelent!!!

  • i agree with everyone else, sounded fab until that piercing bag of nails type of distortion came into play. You need to change the tone of that distortion for sure as it kills the ambient backdrop. Work on your bends and you'll have a killer sound at your feet. nice video though and top marks for posting it

  • i love rack !

  • awesome, don't listen to all the people hating on this

  • ya, the solo CRASHES it. and by crash, i don't mean any kinda slang for cool... i mean, fucks it up

  • revelation... good:) love

  • nice loop , but i think the solo and its tone is simply messing up the whole musicality of the phrase... other than that , it's a really nice idea... : ) keep it up

  • this is awesome

  • awesome pedal collection, great playing as well.

  • Sound like Electric Tears album

  • i bet you use 6 of those pedals. thats just a waste of money. it really gets down to who has equipment but who can actually play the guitar. am i jealous you have all of those pedals? of course. but i bet you mess with pedals too much instead of just getting good at playing the guitar.

  • @OnestoRemember why does it matter? he has done this...

  • @OnestoRemember Those are different approaches. I think it's as valid to become "virtuous" at playing an instrument as knowing your gear and how to use it depending on the style you're playing. The beauty of music is that it combines, tech, ability and feel alltogether.

  • that loop is fuckin awesome

  • sounds soooo sick until the solo...

  • So much pedals... and your distortion sounds crap... c'mon man you can do better....

  • great array of pedals man.
