I think our reliance on one major fuel source is setting us up for disaster. Earth is static. What I mean by this is that the overall resources available on earth is fixed. Yes, we are finding more sources of oil, with better technology. No we shouldn't wait because we bought ourselves more time. If you don't believe in global warming do you believe in smog, acid rain, or air pollution. True we've gotten better. What we do to our environment affects our health and well being.

In the 1970's a report came out that we only had 30 years of oil left. The problem is that every year we know of more proven oil fields. There is more known oil today than was known in the 70's. All these liberals in the 70's bought crappy cars to save gas but there is more today than we've ever known off. Liberals don't have a very good track record.

1) It doesn't snow in Antarctica! This may sound weird but Antarctica is the driest continent in the world. Do your research.

One extra point, the use of crops as car fuel actually hurts the environment as much as traditional fuels because of the refinement process. There is a processing plant near my city and it is just shitting out fumes, kinda gross, smells bad too.
