She wrote peotry and also philosophy, she was also part of the communist mexican party and a great friend of Liv Trotsky (ex lider of the soviet red army) wife of Diego River one of Mexico most celebrated painters. They both asked to be burried in 2 flags the soviet internationale flag and the Mexican flag. Frida was more than just a painter my friend.
