Makes me wonder about the WTC on 911. Not only would Skylab not collapse the 500,000 ton WTC's, neither would a Boeing, a hollow aluminum beer can. Yet we see it's wing tips, edges, tail and all seamlessly enter the WTC, enter it fully and only then explode. Not a Boeing. Believe it or not
"the government takes 50 percent of my money that I earn every year and they could be spending it mass transit, solar energy , and cleaning up the environment , but noooo..." could be said today just as clearly , so am surprised those exact issues so formidably critical today had the same force in the seventies - why has nothing changed ?
@BuddyPC Compared to mass transit, housing, energy technology, infection control, food and drug safety, the innovation in the world of drones is incredible. Ralph Nader - i.e. the government puts way more cash, energy and commitment into the military industrial complex so it realizes therein phenomenal technological progress, unlike in solar and mass transit - not heard of drones falling out of the sky or its industry in tatters , the US had fifty drones in 2001 it has seven thousand today
@lebac "Free fall into it's own footprint in 10 seconds." Nice one truther sheep. Who told you that, fat Alex Jones? I'm sure you're an expert on the subject, right? I'm sure you'd know how a building that was hit by a fully fueled jet airliner traveling at 400 to 500 mph would react. After all twoofer doofus, I'm sure you've seen it happen so many times. You dumb truthers are totally ignorant of science, so it all seems like wizardry to you. Better watch out, FEMA's coming for you! BOO!
@Mainsail76 There is no 9/11 debate. On the one hand there are credentialed experts who demonstrate problems in the official account, and on the other hand there are non-experts who denounce the experts as conspiracy kooks. The experts are cautious and careful about what they say, and their detractors have thrown caution and care to the wind. That is the state of the debate.Dr. Paul Craig Roberts
some of this old SNL stuff really isnt too funny, then again, the newer things arent that funny anyway. But when John Belushi is in it, his attitude just makes it funny!
"The government spends fifty percent of my money that I earn every year. They could be spending it on mass transit, solar energy, clean up the environment, BUTNO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!! They have to spend millions sending up a few chunks of steal, so they can scream back to Earth!" The man was THE FUNNIEST EVER on SNL! NO ONE ELSE compares!

How the world misses you John Belushi....
Did anyone else catch the two important issues he mentioned from then that exists today?
He said that the WTC could be knocked over.
He said that the IRS takes 1/2 and waste it instead of investing in the infrastructure and alternate energy.

Watching this classic clip reminds me of what a tragedy that was loosing Skylab.

John's commentaries on Weekend Update were always epic because you knew he was gonna lost it at the end. LOL

If the Skylab hits the WTC it would topple over? Nope, it would neatly free fall into it's own footprint in 10 seconds.
