You can either shower on your boat or most marinas have showers for the boaters. I prefer to use the boater's showers to keep the mold situation down on the boat.
You are always concerned about your boat. Radar is a big help. Eyes on the screen will tell you whats in your way. And keep your radio on and you will know what is going on out there for most day sails. There are a lot of sailors in most marinas that will give you a heads-up on any issues. Fun too if you plan to drop a line. The bigger problem is getting your boat to sail properly with all the junk you have collected aboard....LOL!
I am seriously considering living aboard a sailboat but had a question. Are/were you ever paranoid taking it out? I mean, all it could take is a stump or barely submersed floating log and your home is gone.
nice video I am have been searching a couple of years for a boat to live on. Really like the Alberg 30's and the Southern cross 31. What is the length of yours and what kinda is it?
hey i plan on someday living on a boat too. its so much better than a house! can you tell me how much boats like yours go for? or a good place to bye one?
Sure. They are about $20,000. It is such a wonderful lifestyle. If you are not really familar with boats take someone with you that is as there is a lot of garbage out there. Good luck!
probably one of the coolest vids on you tube,I was a live aboard sailor, and now
I have a 1967 Columbia-31 i am currently restoring for live aboard purposes.
I cant wait till she is finished, and I can move in lol.

Thank you very much. My boat is a Newport 30 and I have been on it for over 10 years now. I love it.
tallentdeborah 2 years ago
wow 10 years on a 30 footer....cool
I was worried it maybe to cramped but I guess once you spend a week or so on it it probally feels like home. I'll have to look up Newport.
Thanks

It really depends on the boat too. There are some boats out there that just don't use the space well.

PLISKEN12 2 years ago
All marinas are different. I pay about $14 per foot.
