Medusa is a big floating head with snakes she uses the snakes to hit u and when her life is fully at yellow she summons rocks down to hit u and she spits out worms ew -_-

actually, there ARE more whips in this game. There's the flame whip, lightning whip and ice whip which u get after killing extra bosses. sorry if u already knew that lol xD

Medusa just being a head is simply Konami's take on the greek demon, and I think they came up with something quite scary looking. The beams do turn Leon to stone, but I was evading them before they were able to do so (since they need to remain focused on Leon for a couple of seconds before taking effect)

try using this combo (S= square T= Triangle)

S,T,S,T,S,T <- strongest attack, with vamp killer hits up to 350 plus (if all attack hits).

S,S,S,T,S,T <- second strongest attack.

S,T,S,T <- like the first one but not as strong just quick.

T,S,T <- quick and powerfull hits about 100~130. (NOTE: during T,S must press it fast then folloed by T).

good biss fight, but i like the snake body medusa (seen in castlevania 4) more than the giant floating head, as seen as the original nes, and this version, a good fight though, i would have tried the falme whip if i were you, but whatever, thanks for the video, never played this 3-d castlevania, i want to get curse of darkness still, haha, anyways...
