Awesome game ! I did not expect it to get all the way up the tech tree. BC were not the best counter for those ultras, especially without a strong economy to sustain them. Guess that terran ain't all that OP !

Ok, I think this is how we can finally balance Terran so people will stop complaining about IMBA. How would we balance tanks? Make them shoot colorful confetti out of their barrels! That marauders now fire water balloons that don't actually explode, no they just lazily bounce off enemy units. And that stim packs are actually just coca colas that make units have to pee, so they have to run away to port-o-johns that will replace supply depots, because as we all know, those are so IMBA too.

so since both of their games have taken at least 20 minutes i think the zerg could trick the terran and cheese him with 6 pool. Defiantly wouldn't expect that. However i understand it would have a large failure rate since it would be spotted out if he simply scouted. Also it is good to know that zerg buildings are getting HP buffs.

Hai Crota... corruptors don't have enough energy to use their ability the second their made. Dimaga probably didn't have those corruptors for a very long time, considering he had no use for them until he saw those BCs, so yeah, he couldnt use corruption at first. I think I saw that they finally had enough energy at the end when all that was left was a couple of low health cruisers, so there was no reason to use it. Also at the end you were talking as if select was the zerg player. Good cast tho

I think it's generally a bad decision to go air against zerg. Corruptors almost counter any air unit with their very high heavy armor, plus fast mutas and broodlords later. Zerg's most powerful units are all in the air. Ultras are strong, but they are too big to spread out properly and do damage effectively. With thors, tanks and stim marauders it should be very easy to deal with those. Ground unit is the way to go for terran vs zerg.

Corrupter/Hydras are the only units effective against BattleCruisers, but Ravens Hard Counter Corrupters/Hydras. A couple Seeker Missles and PDD's and your BC's won't get a scratch. Just wait 2-3 more minutes, get a half dozen ravens and there's nothin zerg can do.

@100383208 Eh, not really. It lost him a battle, but once the corrupters came out it was game over anyways. BCs are so expensive they basically cost you the production of all other types of units, and you cant counter corrupter-ultra with any combination of BCs and other units.

Its the Terran endgame weakness. All of thier endgame units and production loose to zerg/protoss endgame units. Fine use of drop tech in this game though.

that was such an awesome game. Crota you were on fire. The one thing you missed was at about 7:23 Dimaga broke off most of his ultras to take down Select's natural expo. I think that was pretty game changing, but its okay cuz you made up for it in other ways.

One thing that makes zerg very overpowered in late games is that you can swap to the proper counter units so easy. As a terran you need to build like 5 starports with techlabs if you want to swap to Battle cruisers for example, takes time and cost alot.

In a late game as zerg, you can easy afford to build one of every production building, and then just spawn the unit that will properly counter the enemy. Just redicolous how fast he got out like 10 corruptors to counter those battle cruisers.
