It is a recoiless rifle to be correct and by the look of it it is a us army m3 maaws version oh and i would say the gustav bit was faked because a HEAT round would not do that to a car it would just punch a hole right through it and do you realy think they would let him fire a live AT weapon into the air it could come down anywhere

@AngelusDlion Even if the camera was unmanned, it would have at least been rocked around a little bit be the shockwave produced by firing a Carl Gustav. And besides that I can tell you, having fired these when I served in the army, that firing a Carl Gustav doesn't sound like that. It fires with a bang so loud that Clarksson would be risking hearing impairment by not wearing ear protection, something which I doubt the BBC would be willing to risk.
