This must be considerably older than the Odeon one also available on Youtube - admission only 6d here, but a whopping 1/- or 1/6 at the Odeon! I love that 50s light music at 0:58!
In the US, this was typical known as the "Kiddie Matinee" the way theaters use to do it.

Odeon also used the footage of the kids in the cinema in their Super Saturday Show promos.
