I went on that when i was about 9, i was terrified and got a headache

but that was when i was scared of rollercoasters, i love them now!

thought it was pretty shit cause it gave me a major MAJOR headache so i couldn't go on Rita or much else for ages. Although Th13teen replacing wasn't the greatest idea ever cause it's not an hugely amazing ride.

@ThePaperGangsta64 I honestly don't care about corkscrew leaving because there's like 20 other copies of it around the world. Th13teen is also now the first of what is soon to be a chain of freefalling coasters. What I liked the most about it was that the outside layout was pretty gentle and tame, making me unaware that I was about to drop into darkness :D I don't care what people say, Th13teen is my favourite ride!

Poor Corkey! I thought the rough Vekoma was great fun! Why is everyone moaning how painful it was when it was accualy something that put the park on the map? If it was not for this coaster, Alton Towers would not be half as good as it is now! We have allot to thank this coaster for.

It's not because it's an amazing coaster. When it opened in 1980 it was groundbreaking and it also helped put Alton Towers on the map. People mainly like it for sentimental reasons.
