  • Only the fucking vikings, LOL. Fighting over the interception. They're always gonna be losers.

  • I remember that game like it was yesterday. Incredible way to win a game!

  • Dennis Green at 0:24 "You Gotta be kidding me!"

  • Heck. Yes.

  • at 1:50 he says he was throwing to shit.

  • @clins05 I wonder if Jaworski was watching this before the Pats/Phins game on Monday.

  • does defender actedlike when you throw the ball in triple coverage in madden, the defender tips it.

  • marv albert??

  • is ed maccafrey even wearing shoulder pads?

  • @Fifty9Fifty808 not really, he thought they got in the way of route running and catching the ball. He would wear extremely undersized ones, rip the padding out, also didn't wear any other pads like leg pads. He says the only thing he regrets is not putting his mouthpiece in for every play

  • "they are who we thought they were!!"

  • How doesn't that ball get picked off?

  • Nice post! Haven't seen this since it happened.

  • Can Minnesota ever catch a break?

  • I so miss the Elway/Shanahan/McCaffrey/Davis era...

  • @RMscribe dont forget smith or sharpe..cant forget those assets.

  • @RMscribe sharpe?

  • @RMscribe what bout rod smith :''(?

  • I notice that Marv Albert was calling this game with Phil Simms and Paul Maguire---so he must have been subbing for Dick Enberg. Does anybody know why Enberg was not on this broadcast? Was he sick or have some death in the family, because I can't think of any other sporting event he would have been covering for NBC at the time, as I just looked up on wikipedia and saw that this game was played on Nov 24, the Sunday before Thanksgiving

  • @bayou432 and I don't think NBC would have had a major golf tournament or tennis match going on that would take him away from his NFL duties, and there certainly couldn't have been any Olympic qualifying events given that the Olympics had just taken place earlier that year in July and August.

  • @bayou432 Enberg probably just had the day off because he didn't want to make a trip twice in four days. A similar event happened a year earlier, when he had the Sunday AFTER Thanksgiving off, in order to spend time with his family after he was finished in Dallas.

  • @FutureNewsAnchor Thanks for the reply. It is strange that Enberg didn't want to do this game (if your thoughts are the reason for him not doing this game), since NBC had the Lions game that year, he and Phil and Paul could have just traveled straight to Detroit for a short trip that evening or the next morning to save having to go back home. I think the Thanksgiving announce teams (which have been the number 1 teams for a long time) should not have to do a Sunday game of Thanksgiving weekend.

  • @bayou432 I noticed that CBS has done this about the last 5 years, although I remember Nantz and Simms in 04 did Ravens-Pats the Sunday after the Lions Thanksgiving game, and Gumbel and Simms did Sunday games after thanskgiving as well. But FOX always made Summerall and Madden (and BUck And Aikman) do a Sunday after Thanksgiving game as well.

  • @bayou432 A couple of years ago, CBS and FOX actually gave their A-teams the Sunday after Thanksgiving off. CBS had Gumbel and Dierdorf cover the PIT/NE game that day, and FOX had Albert/Johnston/Siragusa cover their national game.

  • @bayou432 Do you think you know everything??

  • It would have been better if Marv Albert said "Did he catch it? (beat) YEESSSSSSSSSSS!"

  • elway just looks like he meant it like that... no surprise, just a casuall thing... :)
