Caught so many fish on the incoming tides!!!!! A nice place indeed, and had a Chinese take-away that did the best sweet and sour pork I have ever tasted, plus Deardens and Jenkins chippies which were to die for. Ling and chips from Jenkins, yum yum!!!!!!!!! Whenever I visit the UK always try to make a visit to Filey or Scarboro'.
We stood in line for fish and chips, bought parkin and corriander soup at the bakery..bought wayyy too much tack (which now I am so thankful for so I can see it each day), shopped, took pics, walked up to St. Oswalds.. it really was the best. My best friend, and the best place. Can't beat it
Funny, I travelled half way across the world to find home. I left a piece of my heart in Filey. We walked out onto the Brigg, collected shells, had the mini donuts, sat on the lobster at the mini golf, had the mini donuts, walked up Cargate Hill twice (all so my friend could laugh at me - how out of shape I was)..lol.
Like the video. I have been Filey this year for my holidays and I like it, The beach and the views from the Cresent Gardens were lovely. I am hoping to add more videos of the place soon. But its a lovely resort.
Well randomer246, spent alot of holidays in filey as a kid and i loved it. Great little town with nice people, shame on you for your comment - if u hate it so much then leave! Thanks for posting whoever you are, yours.

i have lived in filey all my life,its amaizing there is always something to do no matter what the weathers like :)

Have such happy memories of childhood holidays in a caravan on the country park site.
Been coming to Filey ever since and now with a family of my own. Love the place and the people.
My parents are now planning to retire there soon.
What a lovely place to spend the rest of your days. Great video!!
