Ya I thought he was nice too before I met him. All I said was that I recognized him from somewhere in kind of a joking way like I hadn't seen him on TV or something. I thought I was just being funny but he basically turned away from me and told me to fuck off under his breath. Pretty shocking!

Did he laugh and say "fuck off" in fun? Or did he turn to you with all seriousness and say "fuck off"? He's is only human, we all swear, I can't see him being outright rude like that.

Has anyone seen Brent Butt's stand-up? I love Corner Gas, but his stand-up is the third worst I've ever seen. Really bad. Although I do love the show.

It's true, he makes hilarious television shows, but lacks in the stand-up department.

It's sad that Corner Gas has come to an end.  My favourite show.

omg! i lllloooooovvvvvvveeeeeeee this show!! i own all the seasons, i know the theme song and i no all the names of the characters! its a rly good show! i mean its one of the best ive seen in awhile, it just rly shows the canadian side of life! so if brent butt happens to stuble on this I LOVE UR SHOW ITS THE BEST AND IM ONE OF UR BIGGEST FANS!!!:) :P

its funny brent is so much the same in real life. his writing is so tight. i looked up reaulou saschatchewan on google earth (filming site) and man is it tiny.

This show is hysterical ... the writing, the characters and the acting! A couple of people commenting here have proved they have no sense of humor! A great show!

I am so happy to see your comment on Corner gas. I've tried over and over to watch this show and figure out why people would want to watch it and i can't figure it out. The writing is poor, the acting is mediocre, the comedic timing is totally off. I find that Butt is the worst actor of them all. I don;t think it's a US vs. Canada thing as I've enjoyed DiGrassi, Kids in the Hall and SCTV. I think this show just stinks!

Brent is awesome. I remember he came to my Grade 8 class as a guest speaker all those years ago. :) One of the few things I still do remember about Grade 8.
