Thanks! Yeah I have no idea how he hit there but it must have caught the heart or an artery. Yeah my dad was diagnosed with diabetes a yr ago and he just hasn't been the same. Also may have to have cataract surgery. Glad to see he got a deer though. I was never more happy for him. A memory I will cherish forever n to me that's all that matters, not the size of the rack. Man it will be a change after 29 years hunting together. Enjoy guys and never let it go.
My dad didn't shoot a deer in 4 years. Maybe this deer wouldn't be a trophy to you but any buck with a bow imo is a trophy and an accomplishment. Guess cause you don't shoot any "small" ones that makes you a great and mighty hunter...
