It's not a firmware update, it's completely safe.

And either way, even firmware updates are very unlikely to hurt the Homebrew Channel.

i have 930 MB or something on my wii !!! i updated and it said it gonna take away my memory and it will be 720 MB so i clicked download and after that i checked my wii memory and it said the same thing 930 or 940 MB i was like ...uhhhh ok..... oh well i still have the same number as before =D ...

i solved it

i had prevously had a

pirated browser. so i had to go back

get a WAD manager and a copy of the browser ad uninstall it

first check your internet conection

second check your memory on your wii you need atleast 203 blocks free

third see if your systems up to date by clicking on the wii icon at the bottom and find system update

Didn't have enough memory for the update, and realised that too late. :P Either way, it's nothing major. Just the Mario loading screen.
