The Vikings were Favre's first choice all along and last year, the Packers refused to let him go to Minnesota. Now that he's been released by the Jets, he's interested in playing for the Vikings.

This doesn't surprise me at all. Favre will probably be coming out of retirement again. His motives may not be the greatest, but he sure loves the game of football.
