  • Even his laugh has an accent! <3

  • How adorable George was, wonderful to see him smiling, he had a beautiful smile and everything else.

  • If George Harrison were still alive, I'd make it my life goal to just give him a hug.

  • @walawala1973--What a great clip. George looks at himself and his former bandmates and is proud. There was a lot of tension during (and after) the break-up of the Beatles, yet Harrison had found his own voice. It's fantastic to see the 'serious', 'silent' one smiling and enjoying himself. Just watch his face, his eyes-he looks like a new father! Please post more if you can...JT8800 in Boston.

  • idk i felt something... so.. so.. sad on 0:20 but he looked happy afterwards :') i love you Geo..

  • do you have the whole video?

  • @TwoUselessLegs Your comments are getting annoying now, I mean, I can understand you not been that into George( really I can't, he was so talented and without him would be no Beatles as we know them) but I don't get the point on being in every single video talking rubbish about him, if you don't have something good to say just shut it, you're making a fool of yourself. AND this video is so adorable, I guess there were so many memories for him in there.

  • Smile to Paul

  • this video defines my dreams

  • @TwoUselessLegs Little or no musical talent?

Did someone club you over the head?

  • Ahh yes...when he laughs and says "ah..there's the boys"

  • Ahh ye

  • his laugh...perfect.

  • He is/was perfect. :] Ahh his laugh <3

  • it's like he's watching youtube videos.. but he's not.

  • i lovev you george.!

    you live forever

  • D'aaahhh!!! Georgie is soooo adorable in this video!!1

  • @TwoUselessLegs Prior to 1967, George had only written one song of any consequences: "Taxman". In later interviews, George Martin said he was very impressed with George's later Beatles songs While My Guitar Gently Weeps (1968), Something and Here Comes The Sun (both 1969).

  • @TwoUselessLegs Listen, George was an innovator! He was just as good as John or Paul, he was the one who introduced the sitar to occidental music and people didn't appreciated him, then he made something and here comes the sun and those are the best songs in abbey road. Sorry to burst your bubble dude, but the Beatles wouldn't be nothing without him.

  • why all the negativity? Beatles would never have been the beatles without Harrison.

  • @maxeythecat - His songs got "better" largely because

they couldn't get worse. Keep in mind that George often

submitted 6 or 7 songs per album. Had the Beatles been

less than polite they likely would have rejected ALL OF

THEM. George got 1 or 2 songs out of pity or cowardice

(how can you keep telling the poor kid his music is shit?)

George's "contributions" often meant John and Paul had

to spend time FIXING his shit. Sorry, but every song you

mentioned is musically and lyrically weak!

  • @TwoUselessLegs You don't like George very much I take it.....well, to each his own. These are guys that've known each other since they were fucking KIDS. They grew up together, shit in the same basket, went thru things that none of us could ever even imagine together...they knew each other so well they were closer than most families so it's highly unlikely that ANY of 'em would be "polite" when critiquing one another's material...if anything their opinons would be pretty fucking brutal.

  • @thegrinchl7 Well well well...somebody got up on the wrong side of the chopping block today, I guess.FYI m'lad....ALL the fabs have slagged off or denounced their Beatle heritage at one time or another, especially during the years they were striking out on their own...what's so shocking about that? As for the songs on ATMP being nothing but Beatles rejects, what the fuck d'you think Paul's first solo effort was made up of?? OR John's first record? We don't know our Beatle lore very well, do we?

  • always loved him thought he was overlooked by John and Paul but George was amazing too and Ringo Peace

  • we love you George !!!! and miss you !!

  • I absolutely LOVE this clip! Just the way his face lights up as the fond memories come flooding back ...you can tell that despite all the animosity and bad patches he and the Fabs had gone thru there was still alot of love and respect in him for his former bandmates and what they'd created. Very very sweet.

  • Love you....George....

  • Frightwolf, you are being turned into U-Tube for your spam and language. Good Luck

  • great song though ...absolutely !! so very missed , george , john ...

  • @pagewannabe13 ZING! xD

  • John must not have been wearin his glasses when he met Yoko :D

  • Change the what for John

  • What was blind without his glasses lol

  • such a great video clip i love it

  • @o0oLaylaINTHESKYo0o he had brain injury, when he was born doc smacked him at head instead his butt, hence he bubble his nonsenses, but If he jump on his head, maybe he could get any wise again, however he is sick person

  • have you any disease on your brain,or had you any injuries, you are like LP,still around, around and around the same, you must be very sick person, who asking you for your opinion??

  • @JohnLennon903 Frght is poor thing with dead brain

  • He has an expression of real fondness on his face. It's great to see. We miss you George...

  • Great. Thanks for posting a good quality transfer of this. It's magic.

  • And just think, now that film is on youtube as clear as ever. We can see so much footage, about almost anything, on demand, for free, right here. wow. Im gonna search for some shakespeare, then don king.

  • nice to see george happy looking back at the beatles

is there anymore to this clip

  • Wow that was great! Do you have anymore of that film to upload?

  • @tkatvgps You say "that film." What film is it from?

  • @BigJohnWoody Sorry, I didn't mean to say I know of a certain film. It just looks like it was taken from some kind of documentary or something. Thanks for posting it anyway.

  • if you say something like "george was never meant to be a lead solo vocalist" or "he is lucky for end up in a band with John Lennon and Paul McCartney", you probably have never heard songs like "Something", "Here comes the sun", and the album "all things must pass"... what means you know nothing about music and shouldn't have the right to speak about any of the beatles.

  • @FScholz04 And not to mention his guitar work on ALL their songs. Without a lot of his guitar work, a lot of The Beatles songs written by John & Paul wouldn't be the same.

  • @Marshallsg You are absolutely right... wouldn't be the same. He played an important part in their success, no one can deny it. As much as Paul, John, and even Ringo.

  • Looks like they're watching the footage on a flat screen LCD like tv!! It's nice not seeing George so bitter about his Beatle past or being in the Beatles for that matter... I wonder if they would all smile and remember the good from those years if the 4 of them were to watch themselves singing together.

  • WOW does this bring a smile to my face!!! :D

  • Mr Harrison said it himself: ALL THINGS MUST PASS.

Like most people (& from what I can tell from these comments), I never met the man in this life...maybe in the next one-if we're lucky. True, he was an incredible yet flawed human being, but then again, who isn't?

The only way we can live forever is through death. The Beatles weren't gods or any other type of deity-they were a great band that eventually fell apart. Sad as that is, their memory still goes on. For better or worse...

  • George we miss you!!! I'll bet you and John are having the time of your life right now!!! PEACE AND LOVE

  • hi didnt know somebody from what psychiatric clinic frightwolf broke away???

  • oh, so sweet! love you georgie<3

  • @MsMadiMonster George is sweet,sweet,person

  • I don't know why these people are hating on him, I think he's amazing! He was a great songwriter and singer!

But onto the video, I just thought this was absolutely adorable. And I really love his laugh when he saw Paul look at the camera so awkwardly!

  • 0:23 TUruru xD

  • I thought he didn't think john would die

  • All these comments about peoples personal feeling about George Harrison, The man is A Beatle for fucks sakes, a little respect please. Thumbs up if you agree!

  • Great

  • OMG seems like a modern computer XD

    love him

  • the only thing bad i can find about george harrison is when he had an affair wih eric clapton's wife

  • @SieSieD101 : Actually, Eric longed for George's wife, Pattie ( who he later married of course ). . while George had an affair with Ringo's wife, Maureen.

    A regular soap opera, no ? ( not really, but close . . in a Fab sort'a way )

  • Love never dies :)

  • @SieSieD101 I think he needs medication.

  • You are absolutely right...Thank you..!!

  • Wait ... A flat screen?

  • I hope Scorsese will use the source footage of this in his Harrison Documentary.

  • Some very nice footage in the 70's and he looks happy watching the Fabs. "Isn't it a Pity" that he's dead? "That's the Way it Goes." I'm glad he was able to finance a Python movie while he was here and record some good songs. It's more than what I've done.

  • Very cool!!

  • George was a beautiful person

  • So this is how the Beatles reacted when they saw their past selves... This is so cute!! :D

  • Such a wonderful clip! I could watch this forever but I wish it were longer! He is sooooo sweet! I LOVE his laugh and his many deep dimples! :-)

  • @AuroraSkye I agree! I never knew how handsome he really was! I think he got more attractive as he aged! Quite sexy here in this video, IMO.

  • George mentions that John was blind as a bat during the early days I thought he needed glasses around 1966/67 but I didn't know the dude was short sighted all along !

  • @skeaneable I think I remember from the Anthology that John would walk into lamp posts do to his vision problems.

  • What sort of device is that? Looks too flat and thick to be a tv from that time... but can't be a projection because you can see the tape on the desk.

  • This made me cry!! unbelievable!! :)

  • Aw, poor guy misses his friends.

  • A long, long time ago.

  • lol. love you georgie.

  • I keep coming back to this video. One of my favorites on YouTube. Of all the Beatles, I would most have wanted to be friends with George. The more time goes by, the greater my respect for his musical genius becomes.

  • I see love for his bandmates and pride in the music

  • Is this from the Grenada interview? Would love to see the whole thing. Priceless is the word. Only time I think I've ever seen one of the Beatles listening to themselves besides on the Anthology. Good song indeed!!

  • Aww Georgie <3

    Gotta love his laugh

  • Its soo good to hear his voice again;it makes me smile.Thumbs up if you love, miss, and support George Harrison♥RIP♥

  • Isn't that Olivia in the background?

  • @TheDorr71 Yep...the beautiful young Olivia.

  • george is reacting to watching the beatles...the way we react to watching the beatles...they make us smile, laugh touch our hearts..and here he is...reacting the same exact way...funny isnt it life is

  • Only 4 persons in the world (2 dead and 2 alive) know or knew what it means to be a beatle, that is the lovely thing in this video. Beatles the best band ever.

  • Is there more of this?! I would love to see it!

  • This video made me SMILE.... this is great !! wonderful song.... miss you George

  • where did you get this video /?whats the name of the whole that this is a part of??

  • Does anybody know what this is from?

  • Great Clip thanks!!!!!!!!!!

  • He's so beautiful.

  • that's adorable, Georgie <3

  • George with a computer XD

  • Oh I wish this video went on forever...

  • priceless, love you George ahh <33

  • QUE BUEN MATERIAL, NUNCA LO HABIA VISTO ...UN BEATLE MIRANDO A LOS BEATLES.....FANTASTICO!! LOVE GEORGE

  • What's sad is that whenever I see the young George smile, it makes me think of his older self and his fate to come. RIP George.

  • OH. MY. IS HE JUST THE MOST ADORABLE MAN, EVER? loved how he lauged at Paul when he was looking awkwardly at the camera. We miss you George!!!

  • Miren como George sonríe con nostalgia, y se le ve claramente en los ojos, que recuerda aqyellos días felices con los Beatles

  • He's cute.

  • Simplemente George harrison

  • His smile is so beautiful. He will always be my favorite Beatle.

    Gone too soon..

  • "Good song, though -- not a bad song." 0:50

  • Que sorriso lindoooooooooooooooo!

  • George had killer cheek bones!

  • Georgie is awesome! Even if he is dead i still love him! Im Araya Noe and i look alot like george. My hair is a bit curly but his was more curlier than mine! Oh George...

You make me smile George! In 1968 your hair grew. Alot longer. Oh well. Nobody is perfect. George i have perfect pitch at singing!

  • i love George's laugh. Beautiful man.

  • @maimiaa So do I. ♥

  • can i ask when was george ever bitter about the beatles

  • He has always been my favourite Beatle.

  • this is the coolest thing I've seen concerning The Beatles. He loved them too! He just acted indifferent to them.

  • I look at this and feel like laughing at my old broken heart that desired my ex to come back to me. that kinda love is so trivial and george's smile tells he's knows this now

  • George wasn't just the most underrated Beatle. I think he's the most underrated musician ever. That'll happen when you're standing next to Lennon and McCartney. People sort of naturally assume, "well, the band had 2 geniuses, maybe the best ever, so there's no WAY there could have been a third genius. I mean, statistically it's practically impossible that 3 geniuses would end up in the same band from Liverpool." But when I list my top Beatles songs, George has a LOT of songs at the top.

  • @superman11978 Also a VERY underrated guitar player.

  • Everytime I watch this I feel warm all over. I can really hear the love in his voice and see the love in his eyes. It was truly a magical time for them and us!

  • This is just lovely! so sweet!!!! I love it!! I want more!!! ; )

  • So sweet! I love it!!!!

  • It truly is priceless footage....

  • Is there any more to this thanks for posting

  • those peaceful eyes I always love..I really miss him

  • Wish there was more than1:03!!!

  • Among other things, he had the best hair of all the Beatles too! Love you George.

  • george harrison look like he misses the old beatle days

  • Cut that hair, mop it to the front and he look again like a baby beatle angel sweetheart of 1963

  • this made me smile like an idiot, oh George

  • @unefilleformidable ...me too.....60 years old with a big smile on my face....you tube is great....where do they find this stuff...

  • too bad there weren't many more moments like this, when the Ex-Beatles could just enjoy their legacy

  • I think this video is from about 1976,,wehn he had his Album 33 and a 1/3 out..

  • come back goerge and john :(

  • is that a computer or a tv??? thats nice to be made in 1976!!

  • @wayacrosstheuniverse hahah thats what i said it looks like a plasma

  • I'm sick today but this video just made everything an infinity times better! I just love George's laugh!! :D

  • @johnsomnia Ringo listens to them on his iPod?! But how? They're not on iTunes! Maybe he gets them on his iPod because he's Ringo. Or maybe he illegally downloads them. XD

  • @chibichibi9981 Or maybe he used the Apple USB release of the catalog, which did have it in mp3 format, or maybe his kids ripped the CDs for him. Who knows! :)

  • @johnsomnia what are you a cyborg

  • @MrSammiep05 Yes. I'm a cyborg. Nicely done. Now shut up and watch the video.

  • Maybe leaked from the docu movie that Olivia's been making or has made?

  • @oo1ooo1oo Doubt it, Olivia is super private about her life with George.

  • I have to join the chorus on this one: where on earth is this from? I just love it -- I love how George sees through the showbiz and laughs at it all, having the memory of who they really where while they were up there smiling in suits. I read some interview with Ringo where he said he still listens to The Beatles on his iPod. I listen to them on mine, but I can't imagine doing so and having the memory of being on the recording! Gotta join the chorus: WHERE IS THIS FROM? MORE! :) :) Thanks!

  • MORE! MORE! MORE!

  • ahh... i gave that guitar away... ahh. thats the one...*laughing & singing*....

good song tho. not a bad song... John was blind as a bat, and he would never wear his glasses so he couldnt see anything : ) RIP GEORGE

  • Amazing footage!!! MoRE!! and where did this come from anyways??

  • Where is more of this footage?

  • even his laugh has an aaccent!!

  • Yes that is Paul, George, and John when they were young and before they grew their hair long.

  • what pi,ss me of is that to me george harrison is the best guitarist ,all the solos he did in the beatles and even after , eric clapton will tell you that he hasnt learnt nothin of any1 else only george , he learnt shit loads of george and george anit even in the top 10 best guitarist ???

  • whats this from?

  • Is that Paul behind him?

  • This footage is priceless. Wonderful to see. George is often seen as bitter about his time in the Beatles but clearly, it couldn't have been farther from the truth. Certainly later he wrote warm nostalgia songs like "When We Was Fab", as well. "Not a bad song, though..." LOL This made my day.

  • Thanks for posting this. Love it!

  • hahaha i love how he keeps laughing everytime they show Paul

  • he must ve realized how good he looked at that time

  • I'm insanely in love with his laugh :D always the same..

  • It's really cool to see him watching himself in all his glorious past and being proud of it.

  • '76... such a good year!

  • everytime I watch this video I can't help but atleast smile :)

    Georgie is SO CUTE! :)

  • Just when you think you've seen every bit of Beatle-ish footage. Just perfect. I can't imagine what it must have been like for him to watch this. Where did it come from? . Thanks

  • Never seen this before. Love it when I find some Beatles footage new to me! Thanks!

  • Priceless!!!! Very retrospective

  • GEORGE! MAY U REST IN PEACE

  • Excellent stuff.LOVE to see more.

  • I love George Harrison, and this is a fantastic clip! I'm adding this to my favorites list.

  • OMG! Where's the rest of it?? It's fantastic. Where was this from? George was my fave Beatle at first (because John was married!) LOLOLOL! Ahhh...those were the days. John and George remained my favorites and still to this day. Figures they would be the ones we'd lose first! :( Still luv Ringo and Paul though too!

  • George being the youngest of the 4, looking back to those early days, seeing how funny they all were, and appreciating the music... great memories of the Fab Four...
