  • Ooh this worked! Except my reflection comes out all jagged and horrible! lmao

  • I want to try this, it's rather epic! If I do say so myself

  • What version of SecondLife do you have? I'm not able to do this with mine.

  • @Player01198756 I'm using v1.5.0.3 of emergence. It should work with official linden viewers and other third party viewers. I say, double check your settings and make sure that reflections are turned on. That's all i can think of.

  • Sweet vid :3

Very cute bat as well neat dance X3

Where did you get the bat from,if you dont mind me asking?

  • @NornyChan Thanks :)

That was a bat avatar I was working on (and eventually gave up on) i may remake it someday.

  • @Astaroth6000

    I wouldn't mind having one myself -

Would be awesome to see this done :D

Wonder if it would be more colors to choose from?

  • @NornyChan Well, since the merge is happening, I'm setting up an avatar shop. Sometime i may remake this bat avatar and release it. Oh I'm also on a new youtube account. BlazeBorginSL

  • @NornyChan fail

  • I wonder, if an object could be like that, just curious :3

  • @DragonsXPS Unfortunately no :(

The mirror is a modified water surface and, though many have tried, there is no known or possible way to apply a water surface to a prim so far. I think a while back in 2005, shiny prims were able to have relfections, but that isn't really confirmed. I just read up on that somewhere.

  • @BlazeBorginSL shiny prims do have reflections but from what i can see is that they only reflect the sky, nothing else.

  • @DragonsXPS I'm not sure if that's actual reflections. It could be that the sky textures are just being turned into an env cubemap for the prim. I'm not all that fluent with the 3D mechanics of SL so i could be wrong.

  • tryed it, did everything, yet it dident work =/

  • @sm3xything

Hmm that's odd. Are your graphics set at, at least, medium with reflections turned on?

  • HOW did you DO THAT?!?!

    unless u used photoshop....

  • @nyxeka I said "Read the description" for a reason you know. Anyways, It's basically done with a water normalmap that's a blank image (light blue) then apply it to the water. You also need to turn reflections on in preferences. Look at the website for the tutorial.
