  • how long did this project take?

  • I remember when I was in 9th grade my friend and I used to play a board game called Warhammer 40,000. Well, when I say play I mean we mostly enjoyed building the models and our play area and the playing aspect came second. This absolutely reminds me of that period and I had so much fun making a game board that was like 6x6 ft and had foam hills, styrene details, grass, acrylic gooey water, etc. Thanks for bringing back the memories of my hobby days. Fortunately, I'm still into PC building!

  • Nice job! did you run your LED's in parallel or in series, and did you cut in a resistor? just curious

    Cheers

    LazyMan :-)

  • @WestCoastMods

Each LED is cut into its own resistor and then to a power hub that I can shut on and off independently from the main PSU power

    Take Care

    Ron L C

  • @RONLEEC1 I must say every time I watch one of your vids it's like watching it for the first time. I am so entertained and a 10min vid seems like a 2-3mins. lol

it's nice to be back on the project and catching up on other peoples vids. I shot part 7-8 together but need to finish the door and and some LEDs before I'll post part 8. How's the gateway project going for you. ?

  • I hit a road block. After getting all finished with sleeving the psu cables I go to out it in and it doesn't fit any more because of the outside mounted fan hitting on the new cpu cooler. I didn't want to really spend anymore money on this project but I will just have to buy another small psu. I'll get one that is already sleeved though.

  • wow, simply amazing, do you do models and computers like this for a living?

  • I do build custom cases , but this is a first for me,I'm a certified pc tech and bartender at a local hotel on the weekends. I have a bachelors degree in art and graphics

and do many murals and paintings on commission

  • GREAT love your work!!!!!!!!!!.....11/10

  • Thanks Z, Just a few things to finish on the build for part 8 then I can begen editing the video

  • Cylon basestar!

That IPS works on styrene? I've got some on hand, but only used it on acrylic plastic.

    Great Post work too!

  • Right Again!! Boy you sure do know your model pieces. The IPS Weldon works great on styrene, I get it from the same company that makes the plastic I use.( Calsak Plastics)

  • The 'real' pro's can tell the diff between a 1/72 P-38 made by Tamiya, Revell and/or Hasegawa ans what edition. I just know the obvious sci-fi kits. ;)

  • And your great at it!!

  • Nice really excited for part 8 !

    It'll be awesome..
