hey watd u lair ur box with bed liner and for the ports what type of coating was that it lookd super glossy

@blistex239 The covering on the box is Rhino Liner then painted. The port is painted with the same thing that is on your car. Base Coat Clear Coat. DuPont all paints are Automotive paints. For the port to be like this is very time consuming . takes a lot of time and prep work to get it primed sanded primed base color then clear coated.

I'm working on a box right not that's 205 lbs no subs . For 2 FI BTL 18s. Its 1" MDF with center divider 1" mdf with. Dual ports.

Bass is pretty 'omnidirectional,' not completely of course due to things blocking the acoustics, but there is absolutely no mono bass, like there is mono audio where'st there is one speaker driver which actually will affect the sound, 2 woofers though would just add more cone area, possibly make the lower frequency range more efficient and most likely louder.

@masterwolf1212 Bass just makes music better, you don't need it in Stereo, you have the other speakers for that, for Mids and Highs. Besides, I don't want to lose trunk space anyway, sometimes, less is better.

@Eye4GotM8 I use a $450 paint gun .any will work though. I set it to shoot like a stream of paint. and set it light so it can reach back to rear of port. I use a bright light to make sure im getting way at the back I just do 2 to 3 coats as so I do not get runs . but most important thing is I primer my ports before I paint them. Painting just bare wood does not look good and will never be nice looking . the primer seals the wood and allows the paint to look much better.

to do a flared port. all you do is cut the board almost all the way through. like 20 times about 1/4" apart. all you have to do is experiment. i did my first flare when i was 16

Very nice work in the videos I've watched so far. I used to build enclosures and install systems throughout my HS and college years. Now I'm way beyond and feeling like there's not enough spare time with a family to take care of. I was seriously considering just letting someone else do it for a future car purchase.
